This is Emma we're talking about. Ya'know, the best body and face money can buy? The point is to not look her age.
After looking at comic pictures.I am 100 percent sure it's her cheekbones and even the jawline her face is more defined in comics even in her first appearance and also in later appearances whereas the game art her face looks a lot softer and there are folks who are in their early 20s and look more mature not older but mature and she is that type. You knon how super models look with their sharp jawline and perfect cheekbones that's how Emma Frost looks so if anything her being you get here shouldn't make any changes to her face structure.Teasing entirely aside, there is a possibility that you won't.
While the art is being done for the finale of chapter 1, we are discussing specifics for chapter 2.
Don't take this as confirmation at all. Just that it isn't out of the question.
There's still time for revision. This was just announcement art. If you have reference material for me to pass onto the devs, feel free to post it.

I have never seen Emma Frost looking soft in all the comics or animated shows I have watched she has always looked like how a super model looks.Given how most super models are at the top of the industry as early as age 20 have the same perfect cheekbones, defined jawline and all others things Emma Frost also has.i don't think there is any reason to make her look softer because she is younger .Girls look more mature all the time in real life too. Also doesn't Emma wants to look the best? The supermodel look is what I think she personally thinks is the best rather than a younger softer look.
I don't really know what you mean by "softer," she has a facial structure very similar to the comic depictions with a defined jawline and high cheek bones. Maybe it's just the type of soft gradient we use with the shadows? The point is for her to look blemish and wrinkle free, I didn't mean soft features. After looking at comic pictures.I am 100 percent sure it's her cheekbones and even the jawline her face is more defined in comics
I don't know maybe it is the artstyle difference but to me her jawline doesn't look sharp enough to what I expect Emma to look like. Her cheekbones have similar issue. It's tough to say into words but another word I would use to describe the game's art of her would be apert from softer is "rounder" than the comics.I don't mean that she is chubby or anything like that but she doesn't look to me at all like the typical super sharp modelesque look I see in comics. Her face in comics and also a animated media is not that round in shape in comparison. She looks beautiful for sure but she just doesn't look or capture Emma frost's look for me.View attachment 4237969

I'll give her something non "soft"!I mean with as many facial pieces that we use for the expressions during conversation, I can assure you that she will give you some non "soft" looks since she's an antagonist lol
Ah you know what. I needed that close up, looks better. I see the problem. We're so used to the expression of "looking down on us" for Emma. Squint her eyes, and give her a sly smirk for an expression and we'll get us looking like-View attachment 4237969

Actually, i agree on this, she needs to look more smug and look at us like if we were a worm, thats the true White Queen experience. We're so used to the expression of "looking down on us" for Emma. Squint her eyes, and give her a sly smirk for an expression and we'll get us looking like-
Please do, showing her now then making us wait 2 years would be too mean.Teasing entirely aside, there is a possibility that you won't.

I'd say classic Emma looks like a top bitch with sophistication and domination being her A games, whereas Null's Emma looks like a porcelain doll. Looks more innocent. I guess it's down more to the expression and shading.View attachment 4237969

We havent even met normal Logan, much less an alternate version of him from another timeline.also any chance of an Old Man Logan reference in future updates?
I 'member!I might be wrong but I do remember the Hellfire Club kidnapping some X-men and that included Colossus and Storm I think?

Honestly the best part of the close up its the lips. The difference between the vibes of I'm pretty you spineless plebian slave vs. Look at me, Im pretty right?

Jokes aside, if Shinyboots or any other devs see this, I suggest besides what other people have said already. Maybe also make Emma Frost's eyebrows a more darker shade or just black like in most comics. I think it's a general rule in animation for blonde characters have a more darker shade of eyebrows so it gets more pronounced and be more visible to the audience, that's what I learned in arts school at least. Besides that, her eyebrows are often than not more thin at the end too and thicker at the start. Lastly, its a very subtle thing but in a lot of Emma's comic appearances and art, she often has very low eyelids to the point where you can see the bottom end of her iris and more of the white of the sclera. Small detail but it adds to her resting bitch face and mean but sharp looking face.
