Ok, so I may be a little dense, but I'm having trouble improving the girl's relationships.
I purposefully cheated on rogue with Jean in the very beginning to get them to become rivals for my character arc, but now I'm not certain that that can be reversed. I've been spending time swimming, studying and hanging out at the mall with them, but Rogue still hates Jean.
Funny thing is that Jean is very chill about it all

Secondly, it can be reversed. Though when they're in the pissed off or heart broken state, your only option for the time being is to let them sort their feelings out because seeing you is just a reminder about your cheating.

As for being unable to save it... maybe there's a second calculation based on their love and/or trust? wont even consider it an outfit if it's too racy for that level of relationship? I'll be honest, I'm drawing at straws at this point, cuz I'm a nerd who never bothered making outfits till the very end of the game.

Did you make sure to pick a color and tags before saving it?

I got it! It was due to the fact that I didnt name the outfit. I tried naming it before but clicking on "outfit name"" wasnt doing anything. Turns out that there is a very very specific spot in the "Outfit name" box that will bring up a cursor. thanks to both of you

Try toggling the UI on and off in the graphics options? Older saves sometimes have some of the UI disabled upon loading into new versions - this normally fixes it.
