Damn I love what you did in the finale. Great job!

Just two notes

This game rocks guys, like really the best thing i ever seen. I got here for cool tits and sexy stuff, but i guess i'll stay for the coolest story.

I'm sorry to inform you that the game takes place in America... Specifically New York... Where New York's laws are in place... So it's relevant information.

As for why the conversation option was there. I can't tell you what it will later effect but that was an archetype choice.

Noble/Heroic Null doesn't want to resort to using a gun because killing is against his morals.

Conflicted/Practical Null understands that a gun is good for self defense.

Bitter/Anti-Hero Null is just done ending up in the infirmary and willing to put super villains in the ground or at least make people hesitate once they see he's packing.

Edit: Laura doesn't use or need guns. Girl can outright dodge bullets in some cases. The only character I can think who'd scream about the second amendment would be Deadpool but in an ironic way since he's Canadian and probably doesn't even know what the American Constitution or Bill of Rights says let alone care about it.
Doesn't have to be a normal gun, does it? Sounds boring that a member of the X-Men would have to use a regular gun. The Shi'ar Appeared in the X-Men comics in the late 70s during the Phoenix Saga, again during the Dark Phoenix Saga, and popped up often into the early 2000s. The X-Men incorporated Shi'ar technology into some of their equipment, including the Blackbird, as I recall. Shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility that the Professor would be willing to let him use one of their handheld energy weapons or have the tech built into wrist bands, after they've had a chance to thoroughly study and test it.

This is one of those things you'd probably never believe, but they actually tend to keep spare clothes in the Blackbird just in case. There's multiple times in the comics where someone, usually Wolverine, gets their uniform shredded or they find someone who's had their clothes torn and ruined and they just hand them a tracksuit or a jacket to keep them going. It's easy to forget that the team does a lot of rescue missions on the side, so the jet's usually packed with rescue equipment and supplies.

I'm still slowly working through a new save, taking my time exploring all the updated art, dialogue, and relationship/sex mechanics in Chapter 1. It's all pretty damn fantastic of course, but there is one minor issue (at least IMO) I've come across in the new system I feel is worth pointing out.

So I've started dating Jean without yet having opened up the possibility of dating the others. But I like Laura too, and I'm building up that friendship at the same time. Problem is, there's no way of actually talking to the girls in person that isn't a part of the Flirting menu. Late one night, I'm hanging out with Laura in the Danger Room and decide to compliment her. Instantly, Jeannie the Psychic Queenie storms in and drags me away up to her room to tell me how absolutely fucking pissed off and heartbroken she is after having telepathically witnessed Null so lasciviously, lewdly whispering into Laura's ear that... studying isn't so bad as she thinks and she's really a good student.

I mean, what? I had a laugh, but thank god for rollback.

Now I get that part of the point is that these girls are all slightly nutty in various ways. Still, even for somebody as obsessive as Jean, blowing up at Null because of an exchange as simple and decent as that seems far too extreme. Perhaps a fix would be to add a casual, non-flirty in-person dialogue option which allows you to simply chat, or else just go through the various compliment lines and check which ones are friendly remarks and which ones should be flagged as cheating and actually deserve for you to get chewed out by your tele/psychopathic girlfriend.

(Unless this is all an entirely intentional point of Jean's characterisation and she's deliberately designed to react like this to something so minor, in which case, feel free to ignore me.)

Null doesn't have any of the powers that make her an effective fighter.
1. Partially true, Null does have super stamina.
2. Missing the point. The post I was quoting was intentionally downplaying laura's effectiveness as a fighter. It was forwarding the argument that null is so weak that he can't even win against a tiny girl. Where said tiny girl is super strong.

That's an excellent point and I actually vaguely remember seeing a scene to that effect. Someone gets picked up from a mountain (I want to say Rogue maybe?) and they just hand them a jacket like 'holy shit you are literally about to freeze. put this on'. I'm paraphrasing heavily, obviously. But makes sense yeah. If you're gonna run around in tight clothing and fight, better have backup suits.

Am i missing something for unlocking Jean and Laura's sex scenes, I have them both at 1000/1000 for both stats, they're letting me do anal but neither have let me take the next step.

Take Jean on a date, and for Laura go to sleep alone.

Some jank inherent to the openess of the systems was a bit too bothersome (optional events not triggering when I speedran the second playthrough, minor wardrobe glitches, etc.) to allow for testing things fully, but these are minor gripes. The only thing that I feel like would be a considerable QoL improvement absent here is a quantified indicator of the harem's affinity and the minor "training" elements. The portrait border, for example, tell you where they're at, but not how close they are to getting where they need to be. Hard to tell if I broke something or if progress is actually being made until you get there. Although I suppose when all kinks are ironed out, this wouldn't matter.
We are a bit away from 1.0

0.8 and 0.9 as well as a few patches of 1.0 will be dedicated to making the game as future proof as possible.

In an ideal world, Chapters 2-6 will purely be waiting for the artists and writers to do their job for Ron to plug it in.

I kind of wanna know if Null having an athletics background will play into him being stronger later on
There's already several mentions of him comparing his current level of athleticism to athleticism expected of a Super Hero as opposed to what's needed in sports or spectator fighting.

The most obvious is that Athletic Null has a different take on Laura's training compared to Artistic and Academic Null. I'll bring up to the writers to possibly add some stat bonuses or scenes of Null being more physically competent as Null will be an official member of the X-Men Chapter 2 onwards so he'll have more chances to show off.

One (funny thing and maybe some pretty avoidable bug):
This is a well known and reported bug. We'll be working on it in the patches for 0.7

Null was more commentating on the frequency of him getting into dangerous situations increasing.

We have no confirmation of what Null's main offensive will be. Doing Discord polls has put a Nightwing/Dare Devil style of combat as a desired direction.

Yeah we've talked about platonic interactions. I'll bring it up again when relevant. If we're including bro hangouts, we might as well include platonic gal hangouts.

I know people who won't feel comfortable dating Storm because she's a teacher, but that shouldn't stop you from platonically gardening with her. :)

I mean fair.

Sadly there is no Laura in Rivals.
0/10 unplayable.

I am of the opinion that academic Null could maybe help out Beast like his text implies when hes asked for scientifically gifted students.

My honest opinion to getting romanced by Ororo.

I feel like a year of training with Laura would equal things out physically, no matter what background you chose.
Maybe it can give you an advantage in baseball.

Damn that's too bad, I tend to favour "caster" types.

Oh please, lets not pretend a crushing majority of guys people won´t find flirting with and dating their teacher / caretaker insanely hot rather than "not comfortable".
I know I would go gardening with her anytime.:BootyTime:
