I've seen and reported similar bugs, but never one that procs at the very start of the game...
What version are you playing? And is it on your desktop or are you playing on an android or something? Does this happen every time you start a new game?
The more information you can give, the more likely a dev will be able to figure something out and provide a fix or a workaround.

the map will give you a little pip when there's an available event.
I forget what procs the pay-per-view scene, but I'm pretty sure "finding her voice" happens with her and rogue in the danger room.
and, when in doubt, sleep alone and see if that does something :V
Hovering mouse cursor over objectives shows hints. That and maybe some luck with RNG placing girls right.

I'm confused with some stuff I read earlier so I may be wrong, but there's 3 girls a chapter, and Emma is an antagonist for Ch.2 right? So Chapter 2 we get: 1 new character, one teased in Ch. 1, and one who will tease us in Ch.2. I'm not complaining, I just wanna know what the deal is so I don't get hyped only to have to wait for x amount of updates in Ch.2 to find out that I'll have to wait for Ch.3. Again, Idk if it was misread from an earlier post that Emma wouldn't be able to be romanced until later, and I like how the game looks to be going with the quality in the presentation and consistent updates, plus all the peeks behind the curtain. Also hell yeah some classic ShadowCat!

Now that you mention, I would guess for the opposite to be true. Boobies are pretty straightforward + there are already 2.5 sets of animations for them made in game.

Okay, if I'm understanding you correctly, you've got Rogue, Laura and Jean in chapter 1, but Storm also shows up as part of the story. In chapter 2, you've got Storm, Dazzler and Kitty, but Emma will show up as part of the story. You'll have more than a few interactions with her throughout the chapter, but her being a full-on romance like the others won't be for a while.
