Probably because there is already a legs spread pose and a missionary pose. There are two front facing poses and only one back pose (doggy).

I'd guess once 1.0 is done with and they have the whole basis for the game, updates will come out faster. Not MUCH faster, but a bit. Not having to wait all that much for programming, and probably with future story being worked on as of now, it'd be a thing of waiting for the art assets.

We've always been honest, the biggest bottleneck for updates will always be art, for time and money reasons. We've got a ton of ideas for scenes and things that we have on hold because we don't have backgrounds or CG for stuff like headpats or bespoke sex scenes. But yeah, once we've got 1.0 out, we won't have to worry about adding new systems for a while (I say 'a while', because we all know how projects like these go where, someone gets a really good idea that requires a bunch of new systems and we need to backport it to earlier in the game and...), so we can focus on getting more story and SoL scenes done.
I know people look at the game and see there's an update and think 'oh, it's just mostly behind the scenes stuff with a bit of extra dialogue', but that'll all stuff that we can build on as time goes on. Stuff like the dirty talking system, we can add so much to that as time progresses. Making sure the systems are stable means less time spent bugfixing, means the updates will be more polished as they get put out. Trust me, not being able to get this stuff out as and when we want it is as frustrating for us as it is for anyone.
Preview for now, but that, along with some other new scenes will be getting added to the game over the next few updates.

by having unique sex positions exclusive for each girl! like the basics ones we have now, all girls will receive them + at least 1 exclusive position based on their kink and personality. (unless the devs and artist really want to add a bunch of new positions to all girls in the future)
I imagine because it's easier to implement with the assets that are already there. It'd just be a slight alteration of the doggy style pose, at its simplest.
It's 2* new characters, as far as I'm aware. I've not finished Chapter 1 yet, but to my understanding, only Storm is previewed early. Both Dazzler and Kitty are new.

Three new romantic interests per chapter.
While Emma is known to appear, it will be as an antagonist in Chapter 2. She will most likely appear as a romantic interest in a later chapter as for a long time, Emma was an enemy of the X-men.

No, I know that, the context implied only 1 new character that hadn't been teased in-game yet, so I was correcting that.
