Could be that once they're implemented in the actual game, Kitty will look appropriately smaller next to the scenery and the other girls.
She will. It's also a perspective thing. Null is 6'0 and Laura's like 5'1? She's "tall" like the others only because you'd be seeing nothing but her eyes and up if we didn't go for perspective distance.

In isolation Kitty's proportions don't seem petite but when next to other girls, in CGs, and when she's in the background she'll be tiny.

A couple of the guys behind this game float around here from time to time and have proven time and again they know their stuff. All fans here. One of the greatest strengths of this project.(y)
I read 30 years of comics in 1 month while one of our writers read 60 years across a more moderate 3 months. The dev team was genuinely concerned for my health and told me to stop outlining the plot once I hit chapter 4. I'll go back to outlining it when we get closer to it but I was brain storming too much.

With 1.0, when the second year starts, until that version they are still finishing the mechanics

1.1, 1.0 is when the mechanics and year 1 slice of life will be complete and the release after is the new year / new girls.
1.1 is when the second year starts.
1.0 is when they've done everything for year 1.
These two get it.

1.0 also won't just be when Year 1 is finished. It's our hope that 1.0 will be when all core systems are in place so that we'll very rarely ever have to go under the hood.

A reminder for why we chose this approach. This is 99% of the reason other Renpy games have saves break. In our current dev cycle we've only had saves break ONCE because of this design philosophy.

The more complete it is, the more stable it will be so that we'll just need to plug in art and writing.
