Ah well, hopefully they will change their mind in the future, hopefully the amount of peeps saying they love their work is a good morale boost
i have a feeling the amount of hate they might get from ppl who love to preach about morality or some such nonsense (among other things) would wins out, something about negativity bias. Or maybe they just have their personal reasons. Still tho, with the kind of arts we've seen so far I have no doubt the artist would get some neat commissions, having a point of contact would be nice

But if they get swamped with commissions, that would make the game take longer
tru

I'm fairly sure no one cares about patreon THAT much anymore like we all did before, and subscribestar isn't that bad either, I don't think it'd be a problem to get it instead
yeah we just need a point of contact, as I've said (even tho it might also turn into a point of vent if they made any 'unpopular' design)

I think that would depend on the communities theyre already a part of, Ive seen a couple of mainstream comic artists drawing porn, or at the least lewds/ero/pinups on their public twitter, but still, I wont deny there will always be assholes who will try and bury someone for drawing something they disagree with

yep, this is the biggest concern I can see. Once you're a somewhat openly public person on the internet with a modicum of fame, there will always be some shits getting fling your way, for all kind of reasons. Granted, some people are better than others at the whole managing fame and hate on the internet, but like I said, negativity bias will most certainly make those people a minority. The internet enables some really massiveasshole(aay:KEK:) behaviors, I dont think that gonna changes anytime soon which is why i can respect it if the artist decide to keep it low-key. If the team allows the artist to put out his work into the world (and lord it looks like good work) then hey, I'm all down for it

Speaking of good work, ShinyBoots1993 do we get storm's teaser too before the initial release or nah?

Hi Shiny, this might be a rude question. But has anyone told the artist that Laura mask looks weird?
It looks larger than it should be, given the size of the head.

As I promised if there was anything of note to happen I would let you guys know asap.

Here is a message from the team.

Announcement from the Null Hypothesis development team (April 2023)

First, we would like to make things abundantly clear. Development has not stopped nor slowed down in any way. Everybody on the team is just as dedicated and passionate as the day we started. Nevertheless, our team is new to game development, so efficiency isn’t always perfect.

To that end, while we will be showing you more of the game very soon, it will not be the “first release” as previously discussed. Instead, we will be posting a build of the game's introduction in a couple weeks. While this introduction may not demonstrate the sandbox aspect of our game, it will serve as a primer for the characters and writing.

You can expect more teasers and information before we post the introduction, and don't worry, the “first release” is also still coming, but at a later date.

We’re glad everyone is excited to see more, but our project is ambitious, and these things take time. Rushing is never a good idea, and we only have so much time we can possibly dedicate to development while also maintaining our IRL responsibilities.

Thank you for your patience <3
As an assurance. I've seen some of the things that are being cooked up and trust me, I'm gonna stop blue balling you all with coy hints and trolling gifs. ;)
