yeah, in an update about a mod getting added to the dev team as a writer/lore consultant (Buttholder had made a recommended reading doc way early in the discord) shiny accidentally mentioned alpha testers.
Then he posted a picture of a feature that wont be in the upcoming release. I feel like there is a 100% chance if i describe or share the image some guy is gonna whine that it isn't in the initial release.

Yes. The game is forever free so we'll be updating here.
I'm sure the team has enough ideas to work on, but Forget-Me-Not would be a fun addition. Your character would be the only one capable of remembering him

According to that screenshot, a beta version will be distributed to guys who were active on the discord before that announcement. They'll be getting it by the 12th (or else) and then after squashing bugs a first release will get posted here. Edit: My guess is an official public release by the start of october at the earliest.
