The sex mechanic seems really awkward to deal with at higher speeds. The text switching takes priority over the action setting which makes it a real chore. It also seems like a real grind just to finish an orgasm. If I wanted a frustrating sexual experience, I'd just go find my wife.

Anybody know what editor should i use? i used saved editor online and it shows me this, i hit yes and it doesnt do shit...
I actually just read up on this the other day. There's no saved editor you can use to get rid of this. There's a sumcheck that's saved on your machine for save files. Anytime you load a save file that doesn't match the sumcheck, this message comes up. These's only 2 ways to get rid of this. 1) remove the sumcheck file so the game will generate it anew. 2) generate a new sumcheck to match the new save game.
With that said, if you hit yes and the game doesn't load, that has nothing to do with sumcheck. The save file itself is bad.

It's a security feature of newer Ren'Py versions. Technically save files can be hijacked to run malicious code on your PC (in most setups, completely unrestricted). Save files are signed with your personal signing key when saved and any save file that hasn't been the game will refuse to load.
It should be theoretically possible to resign modified save files, and it is, but the only user friendly front end for doing so I've seen is

I have not used it, and cannot vouch for its safety or effectiveness. But it's probably fine.
It should be possible for someone to make a script you can feed a save file (by drag and drop even) that automatically does this, but I don't believe it exists at this time.
I have to say that really liked the game, as a fan of RLE this is a GREAT game inspired in that game. It is one of the best date sim / slice of life / parody game ive played. It is quite slow paced and a gridfest, BUT Its so wholesome and every interaction is so unique and tailored that you dont get bored, nor feel it is repetitive at all. Dialogues are natural, the story is rich and deep. Characters are down to earth and they struggles fell real. So even the long path to sex is a great experience. I get the fact that its focus heavily on the romance not on instant gratification yet i cant help to fell extreamely disapointed with the sex scenes, let me explain:
1st the girls can only cum 2 times. may i ask why? this just cripples the whole experience. I know im nobody to tell the devs what to do but i doesnt make sense to me as a player to limit the amount of time you can make a girl cum. you have to spend 8h to get to fuck them and in 5min the scene is over?
I know this is not RLE but i think it would greatly enhace the experience if girls could cum more times, in fact this game would be so awesome if instead of getting a limited number of times the girls can cum we could compete to see how many times you can make them cum like in RLE. i get they are virgins but most women can cum multiple times with out a problem and if that were the case (they being virgins) i would get that at the beginning they couldnt but after a few times they should be able to come infinite times. By the time you fuck you easily had intimacy with them 10 times.
And before somebody says you can keep having sex with them, yes you can but the dialogues "practically" stop. One after an other, insteade you could make it a scale.
there are element you can use like: eyes rolled back, tongue out, blushing, ruined make up, wetness amount: from some fluids to tons of fluids, to squirting, and even peeing. if there would be a scale were each time a girl cumed their face would get progressively sluttier until the supreme Ahegao it would make this game the best porn game in this site. Hell if i had to spend another 8h unlocking those features ill do it without hesitation.
And here comes the last point. The fucking grind. As i said i know this is not RLE, but you could tone down the grind a little, just a little, for example:
by giving a few more points in the cellphone chat
by giving more compliments on dinners
by giving points for multiple flirting actions, instead of just one
hey i dont mean to break the game but a couple pick up lines when you get to know them better, a longer hug or a kiss, hell theres an option when you put your arm around them and then they kiss you (weird as they havent kissed you the first time).

Btw if you could tell us which gifts would work for each girl it would save us a ton of time just like the clothing.

2nd the game rates sex scenes, and thats cool because it gives you more points if you do well, yet they value more the number of unique interactions you make, than the pleasure you give the girls or the times you make them cum. Its not about user skill i can make them come easily with a few actions.
Yet im forced to do a bunch of actions i dont want to do to get a better ratting. Love points and Trust points are so hard to get that i prioritice getting them over enjoing the sex scenes and the chat options too. I just choose the one that gives more points. Btw can you just tell us how many points each option gives so we dont have to roll back again and again?

I may sound like a dick but its not my intention. i think this game is on the verge of greatness, the art, the animations, the dialogues are top noch but the devs choose to ruin the sex scenes by limiting and shortening them as much as posible, and on top of that they make it a chore by rating them by the number of unique actions. I really enjoyed the game yet i couldnt fap to it. Fuck i hate to be the guy that talks shit and shit but this game has a huge potencial i hope you can make sex scenes longer and more enjoyable so the grind is worth.PD: i wrote all this stuff because i really really enjoyed the game, everything but the fucking sex scenes... Keep up the good work guys!

I'm having issues with the phone - won't let me click on any app in it. I've done a search on here and found numerous references to a hotfix that was posted on the front page but that seems to have been removed? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Same reason for why Null can't go above level 5. We're still in early alpha. That fact is hidden because our UI, Music, and Art dev members are really good at hiding it to a point where it actually hurts us lol
In case you didn't notice, 100% of our music is an OST made for this game specifically.
Yeah, we're going with this logic. Though as I said we're still early in the dev cycle and haven't finished every system yet.
These are all amazing suggestions and I'll put them forth for when we work on finishing the system.
We call it skill because despite several players and the entirety of the dev team and beta testers being able to do it, some people get frustrated and think it's impossible.
We have an auto mode. The rating system is exclusively for completionists and achievement hunters. Getting a C because you clicked auto won't punish you.
We've reduced the grind to a point we're happy with. The "problem" is that we've yet to finish a lot of the methods to obtain love and trust. Again we're still in the early stages of development.
We're going to add a lot more events and activities that will have variations and you'll be able to get to the required points at a significantly faster rate.
As I said, the game doesn't LOOK like it's early but 99% of your issues are things we have on the to-do list. We just only have so much time to devote.
A VERY important thing I want to point out for everyone is that you do NOT want to tell girls "what they want to hear." That will come back and bite you in the ass in later chapters. The before-mentioned events that have yet to be implemented will be used to gain love and trust not gained during dialogue.
sleepingkirby who made the cheat mod can tell you that in the code there's a lot of hooks in dialogue options that CURRENTLY don't connect to things yet. They will. Characters will remember what you said.
Speaking of cheat mods and people using save editors. If you have an issue with your game, we cannot accept your bug reports. Not saying Kirby's mod or the save editor are the cause but since the game doesn't anticipate cheating, we can't risk changing values as a "bug fix" in the chance that it may be tied to a cheat being used.

Can you elaborate further on this? Right now I'm humoring all of the girls with their idiosyncrasies but I'm not a huge fan of Jean or Laura's kinks. Is that something I'm gonna be stuck with or can I put cold water on that later on?

I'd also like to add to this by saying that my cheat injector will allow you to change numeric values. And while that can cause problems, changing string values, booleans or even objects can easily cause, a lot easier than numeric values, breakage that may or may not appear immediately. Generally, unless you really know what you're doing, I would advise against save editors in changing those type of values. This is one of the reasons why I wrote in the FAQ of the cheat injector the following:
This is to highlight that, again, unless you know what you're doing, you may, potentially, miss out on whole swaths of content and/or softlock the game. And this might not show up until much much later.
The ability to crack open a game gives you a lot of power. And, since we're dealing with Marvel stuff here. With great power comes...
1. Enabling their kinks will have a different consequence that is neither good nor bad. So don't worry about it.
2. Right now you're stuck with them. Our current focus is a rework of their kinks so that they're more nuanced. When it's finished you can have a Laura who is a dom in bed but won't stalk you, or a Laura who will stalk you but won't be a dom in bed.
What I was talking about is that we really want to be a choices and consequences game. People will learn of you by reputation.
If you're talking to like 6 girls and you tell them all exclusively what they want to hear, that behavior is horribly inconsistent and you may get accused of being fake.
Heroic, Reluctant, and Bitter Nulls can romance all girls. The tone will simply be different and you'll be rewarded, not with exclusive scenes, but the tone of your relationship will be different.
I'll use Colossus as an example since this has already been mentioned in the discord more than once so the writers won't kill my family if I talk about it.
In Chapter 2 he'll react to you differently depending on how often you chose a certain answer.
Heroic: He'll see you as a good guy and an equal.
Reluctant: He'll see you as someone who is insecure and attempts to be a role model.
Bitter: He'll see you as a punk that is ungrateful for everything Xavier and the X-Men have been doing for you. (Don't worry this won't hurt you, he'll come to understand your perspective after a few interactions)
Inconsistent: He won't know what to make of you and be unsure of how to approach interacting with you.
All of this may also influence a potential relationship with Magik, Colossus' sister, if we decide to add her to the game.

I mean unless Null is badmouthing people behind their backs and being chummy with those same people when they are in front of him I don't see why he would be called fake.A person can behave differently with different types of friends isn't really fake.The fake thing would only be trying to sabotage them or talk shit behind their backs and acting like a "friend" in front of them.
You can find a comprehensive list of things that are not included in game in our discord server. In short, no there is not and will never be any noncon or dubcon or anything of that nature. Also depends on what you mean by complete freedom of choice. The story events are more limited in that you can only change the course of events so much. In the sandbox you have freedom to date as many or as few girls as you want (as long as you get permission from one girl to date other girls)
