Oh green eyed Laura how i was robbed of you :(
Great observation now that you mention it. In both prime timeline comics and X-Men Evolution she has green eyes I think. Wonder why the TNH team went with hazel/yellow eyes.
IIRC, Laura came to be for TNH before they decided to do their own thing and the game was more like RLE HD (wich is why we have her in the first place, since she doesnt fit the timeline by a couple of decades), so by the time they took the current course, her art was already done.
As to why RLE's Laura has yellow eyes, Oni just wanted to make her look more uncanny and feral.

Simple answer: we realised surprisingly recently we'd picked three characters with green eyes in canon, so someone had to go home and change. The amber eyes work well with Laura anyway: she's supposed to have a very unnerving, piercing stare in the comics, which works just as well with vivid amber eyes as it does with vivid green eyes, and it works nicely with 'stray cat' thing we have with her. I think we made Rogue's eyes slightly different as well, a while back as well.

Imagine waking up at night only to see those piercing eyes gazing onto your very soul (she doesn't know how to flirt)
They are described as unnerving and cold, but i havent seen anyone draw them as anything but sexy.

Don't quote me on this, but eyes being unnerving and cold requires a bit more than a single art, frozen on time. These artists are good, but THAT good? Not sure I should expand it further as I suspect I might go off-topic too frequently already.

She doesn't know how to flirt? In RLE she smears her love juice on your face in broad daylight in front of other girls.
What could be more romantic that that?
And people say that TNH Laura is too pushy...

Oni just fucking lazy, he does a game based on the TV show, but then decides he doesn't wanna draw the characters as designed in the TV show just 'cuz... including the literal original character the show created. Although also kind of understandable since Logan movie didn't exactly have a brown Laura...

Peak romance TBH.

I mean, to be fair, Evo Laura is like 12, and she looks nothing like Logan, makes sense why her later appearances made her caucasian.

Funnily enough, Dafne Keen is spanish, her spanish in the movie is 100% legit, its endlessly hilarius that the Logan movie got her origin and character better than the actual comics on her first run.

A female clone of a male (or vice versa) is by definition not a clone. Derivative person maybe... I just kinda assumed they Jurassic Parked the missing DNA with the most obvious source of DNA south of the border. But it's also a TV show, not worth thinking too hard about. Not like this game is!

I mean, there are plenty of brown people that also speak spanish. Be weirder if they cast a Brazilian actress, not like the average gringo would know the difference (as a gringo, I can confirm this). Plus, animated tv show has a much more limited budget, voice acting usually first to go... but yeah, Logan movie at least treated source material with respect, but it was 2010s, not 2000s!
