We're actually leaning towards comics more than anything else. Ron and Mad(Our lead writer) just really wanted a love interest that wasn't 18-21 within the first two chapters.

Which fair, most of the X-Men characters are teenagers. Hell, most are underage. So playing with certain details was already gonna be a thing.

Ooo, that's exciting to hear! Out of all of them, Illyana would be who I'd love to see the most, but Dani Moonstar and Rahne Sinclair's close friendship would be really cool to see play out as well. Definitely would make for some interesting jealousy between them if you start dating one but not the other.

It ain't happening.

Any pegging, gay, or female Null content will likely happen after chapter 5.

For those who haven't seen or need a reminder. Chapter 6 is pure free roam and will have stories and characters that wouldn't fit the linear story of chapters 1-5.

A lot of it would be experimental and whatever we felt like including so that'd be the stage where we'd go back and make changes to the main game. Like adding a fourth or fifth girl to a previous chapter since we have our 3 girl limit.

Reminder that our 3 girl limit is what will be keeping updates Chapter 2 onwards fast.

There are weirder kinks out there but anyone who thinks it'd fit within our game has not been paying attention to its writing.

This was an early decision. The TL;DR is that Marvel characters are rarely ever allowed to have happy relationships. This is because a good writer will show a cute romance or a touching friendship and when they're done with the run, some asshole will come in and ruin it because they're edgy. Or one of the MANY and I mean SEVERAL bitter executives who think happy marriages are unrealistic and boring and force writers to end them or to cause drama.

One of the biblical laws of Marvel is that the main universe 616 has to have the Fantastic Four love each other as they're "Marvel's First Family."

Because of this... 99% of every other appearance of Sue Storm has her cheating on Reed or the fantastic four just hating each other.

Our writing team is just so tired of this and our exhaustion overrode our horniness.

If you want Sue Storm I do recommend Doomination. They recently had an update like yesterday I think.

The House of Mouse and their lawyers could come in at any moment and tell us to stop. Though Marvel tends to be permissive in these things as they like supporting fan projects.

I'm actually kind of paranoid that someone at Marvel has seen that we exist but as community manager I have repeatedly told people to go buy the comics if they want a preview of what to expect from Chapter 2 onwards and one of our writers ( Buttholder ) both made an X-Men reading guide and listed the "best of" when it comes to further reading in the characters' profiles in game.

You joke but the fact that we have so many people vocally complaining that the story outweighs the horny we probably do have some legal grey area when it comes to a respectful transformative work.
