Honestly, even cheats installed, you really have to keep on top of it to get ahead of them. I forget the number now, but they get more out of a session of study/training than you do if you're not inclined in said subject. So you pretty much have to train/study at least 2~3 for every one time they train or study. But SeveralGeese is right, studying/training together (even as a group) counts as a study/training session for that character. I've just gotten into the habit of training/studying with all the character and sneaking in studies right before bed.
yes. the best chance is to focus on 1 leaderboard based on what trait you took at the beginning meaning athletics or academics. if you choose athletics, focus more on the combat leaderboard and vice versa
I don't imagine it would change at all. Storm is a teacher, Emma isn't a student, and I don't think Daz is either. That just leaves Kitty, who is more of a mall rat than teachers pet. If anything I could see helping her with schoolwork to be a side quest since she seems like the type prioritize shopping and dates over studying and training.
