Maybe it's too much, but do you think we'll have a period where we meet Alpha Flight? Probably not, cause that's a bit of artwork for just a single event, but it would be neat. Maybe we'd get the opportunity to fight Wendigo alongside Wolverine.
There is a point in the comics where this does happen and I've included it in my outline.

Up to the other devs to include it but it is on the table.

If we're going comic-accurate
There's a difference between comic accurate and comic reliant.

She lives in their Australia
I got mixed feedback on this. Some people want to handwave this like the Brood Saga, some want the sandbox to switch to Australia for a season.

Either way likely not to be a concern till chapter 4.

I think they've already mentioned chapter skips.
Still on the table and being highly considered.

Depending on how the code is written.
Considering we've discussed retroactively including girls that had to be cut for workload purposes, I can see this easily being modded in.

Right, but my question still stands. If you can answer stuff about it, I wanted to know if the story going forward will be deeply entertwined with developing and improving relationships with every 3 piece combo we get per chapter, or if that will be optional from the get go.
Oh. It'll be like chapter 1. You have to gain their trust to an extent with optional objectives leading to a deeper bond.

The point of being required to do a few quest for each girl is in universe team building that does affect the greater plot. Like Jean's events are directly related to the conclusion of chapter 1.

Like, please excuse the person that knows three languages, but reading this, nothing about this says or mentions other people or how they play. This wasn't an attack on you or anyone. This reads to me that he has FOMO, which, he explicitly states in a later post. Which, who doesn't?

And I haven't said you've said that either. I'm not sure where you're getting that from.

That's not what he said though. That may be what *you* think he's saying. But he's not. He asked for it as "complete as possible". As in, let's say, there's a story line of Rogue finally accepting that it's okay for people to know she likes children's cartoons in the monogamous route, and that there isn't the same level of fullness or equivalent (but not necessarily the same) in the poly route, he would feel bummed out. If fact, he's not even asking for a one-to-one equivalent. He literally wrote:

And, above all else, he's just like "Hey, I know this doesn't mean much but, here's my opinion." You're somehow taking his one, meek and polite, opinion, which was then voted out, and then jumped down this throat for voicing it. Like, take a step back, take a deep breath. I know you're not usually like this. If the game won't do it, I'll handle it. You know that. Someone expressing their opinion isn't a threat to you any more than you expressing your opinion is a threat to me. No need for the name calling. No need to demean other people. I'll handle this request when the time comes.
I genuinely appreciate that you seem to understand where I'm coming from. That said, for my part I'd prefer if the matter died here- or at least, my part in it, as either poster or subject. People will think what they want to think, and right or wrong, it's a hassle that doesn't benefit the thread overall.

Noted. Like I said, if/when the time comes, I'll see what I can do to make something in the cheat injector so one doesn't miss out on any monogamous content. Again, if for no other reason than I myself wanting that option. Also again, depending on how the coding turns out. All signs says it should be possible, but you never know what might happen with code in the future so I can't guarantee anything.

I think my only concern right now is the system for unlocking being able to date a new girl when your going for all the girls. It's a good and balanced system when your dealing with just a couple girls but it might be a bit much with more.

When they add the new 3 new girls you will have to grind the friendship something like 12 times ( 3 for the first, 4 for the second, and 5 for the last one )? to unlock dating all 3 new girls. And something like 39 times when you have 12 girls and 3 more are added. Note I'm not great with math.

I'm hoping they make it that a fair amount of the girls start okay with it if they make sense for it, or at least require little effort. And only the ones that canonically don't get along with others require more work to establish that trust.

Had this thought the other day too. With each release, you are going to have to grind for that friendship/trust/love just to get said girl into possible harem or such. In practice, with girls like Storm and Emma, and likely others, it makes sense for them to be 'down the road with the story' progressions like how Storm already is. But with the others, it's going to add more to the grind.

One possible solution would be to intro them back in Chapter 1 (example Dazzler/Jubes/Psylocke/Kitty) and have them present to work with to grind on their stats and such right from the beginning, and to simply have them be else where during each arcs conclusion.

Example: Juggernaut's first meeting. Could say that Jubes was with others off campus, Kitty was helping others, etc.
Mall Fisasco: Considering how everyone was busy, well that would be remedied easy.
Riot: Certain others were away on a mission or such and they just heard about their boyfriend getting sent to the hospital, again.

Granted, you would already be doing extra work to grind out relationships from the get go, but at the same time they would atleast be present and available to work on and establish things 'early' on rather than with every update arc, rinse-repeat, and hope said new girl doesn't enter the room while I'm balls deep in Rogue and Jean at the same time and get anggy. Though I suspect Kitty would be down for watching...

I'm fine with grinding out the Trust/love stats for each love interest. I get that because that is representative of the relationship null has with that love interest. And introducing new love interest into the game kinda makes entering a new chapter that more significant.

But having each new chapter add 3 more stats per love interest I need to max out as well. I feel like a lot of that should fall on the individual girls being able to make friends with each other and only needing my intervention if they don't get along initially.

I mean to some extent there are some pre established relationships with some of the girls. Kinda hinted that Rogue and Storm are besties, and if I am not mistaken Dazzler to some measure too. But I do agree, having to grind friendship mainly will be the biggest bitch.

You could tag team study session with say Rogue and Laura + Dazzler enough times till they reach friendship status, same with Jean and round robin it.

like I said it's a concern, not a complaint as the system hasn't fully played out yet. Also feel like I might be repeating myself after the poll results. I no longer feel like I'm playing the game wrong and shouldn't really speak up much about my concerns.

I'm not even sure if any of this is already planned out. like maybe it has a passive increase at the end of day that increases friendships with certain girls already or something. I haven't played for a bit, was waiting on Chapter 2. But starting to feel the itch again to do another run.

This is the classic summation problem (add all numbers from 1 to n. i.e. 1+2+3+4+5...+n). So the total number of relationships that needs to be built, if n is the number of girls, is n(n-1)/2. Which means it's an exponential increase as more character gets added. Just to illustrate how fast this can grow, assume someone downloads and plays this game for the first time on chapter 3, and chapter 3 has just 1 new character (for a total of 7 characters), that's 21 relationships to grind. At 9 characters, that's 36. I believe events like pool parties and BBQ parties will help since you can build friendship among a lot of characters all at once. But yeah, as the number grows, if the devs want to keep the poly route not a massive grind, some things will have to be adjusted. Maybe some characters already friends with other's. Maybe like you suggested, as time goes on, they'll naturally make friends with each other. Maybe they'll increase the rate of friendship per event. Who knows? But, worse comes to worse, this is exactly why I made the cheat injector since I knew this was going to be a problem.

If boomboom shows up, does that mean null would have a chance to teach the beyonder how to grind stats? :sneaky:
