If you bail on classes and just study at night, you can get one more cognitive point than if you took both classes that day. If you spend the whole day studying, you're way ahead. You can get 1 additional point if you study all day except to use 3/4 energy to attend morning and midday classes, so I suppose it's not a total waste of time.
"Yeah, the X-Men have great resources, but their instructors are pretty slow. Better to just skip and read the material on your own." Wonder if that is ever going to get balanced/tweaked.
It's actually quite possible to beat Laura with max energy/time. Even to do it while simultaneously beating Jean in Cognitive.
But basically for Laura/Jean every time they train/study, they get 3 points (or 3 times? I can't remember) in their specialty.
This also includes when YOU train/study with them. So you'll never beat either by constantly working with them, you need solo sessions for that.
They also only do at most 1 session per time slot on their own, while you only get 1 or 3 points per session, you can do MULTIPLE sessions in one time slot, out pacing them as long as you train/study solo, since you can do 5 sessions in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 4 in evening, 5 at night(Night is limited to only studying as danger room is closed).
Again, this is all mainly projection into the future, as it's impossible to unlock all the time saving/leaderboards boosting abilities right now, but it is/will be possible.
I always try to max love/trust asap so getting max on board was less of a time immediate issue. I did like the idea that as more perks are unlocked that in the future it gets easier to get better spots on the board. Simulates Null getting better and not needing to spend as much time. Smart design.
Glad we have the hardcore crunchers mathing things out and also figuring out what we already knew in many cases; that going to class is a waste of time.
TBF this is after 4 points of perks (free action in morning and at night) and 9 points of mutations (extra energy each time period), though there is a perk for increased effectiveness of going to class, that was already factored into my numbers as well.
Admittedly, with load times getting faster with newer games, it'd be nice if we got the option to set our own load time to soak in the loading screens-
Mr Sinister in TNH is just the same as in comic canon, except instead of cloning Jean to engage in Scott-centric eugenics, he's cloning Rogue for Null-centric eugenics
Does anyone else imagined his, or her, Null, going to Xavier and asking for relationship advice on how appropriate is it to encourage each girl's quirks, and if doing so would be harmful or not for each girl on the long-term: for example, how to deal with the appeal of a submissive Rogue versus possibly damaging her self-esteem? Or is it just me?
I know it sounds like I'm projecting myself on the player character, and I'm aware of that, but not in the way it might seem.
Your not really pushing a quirk on them more like encouraging what they want. Giving them permission to act this way with you. At least that is how I see it.
Now I do have a bit of hesitation in some of the dialogue with Rogue, feel like it straddles humiliation more then dominance a bit in some. But that is a very minor thing.
was my misunderstanding since she did appear in every seasonal event and seemed important ...oh well...we can say we know she is in chapter 3 hopefully
Cecilia Reyes canonically doesn't get involved with the X-Men till almost two decades after the events that chapter 3 will cover, whether the devs want to formally introduce her earlier is unknown, but there are a lot of hugely popular characters in the running as well, even beyond the three I mentioned above.
Reyes just because there was the implication that when she was introduced in the comics, she already knew Xavier/The X-Men in some capacity, so her inclusion right now is just filling that gap.
This is the canonical reason for her being in TNH in her current capacity. She is not the mansion's primary doctor. She's there on request by Xavier to look into Null specifically.
What that means? Continue playing to find out.
But yeah she's a silhouette because we have no idea when she'd be introduced into the sandbox and people already got to wait at least all of chapter 2 to get to Emma in chapter 3... Maybe... Let us cook on this one.
I need this like I need to plan out every way I'm going to play the game, likely years ahead of time-
Which is to say-
I NEED IT NOW.
Seriously though, while obviously it'd be different...Null literally is the equivalent of a wild card, using all the abilities of those around him, while still not being able to do everything himself.
Could some one just share a save please. It's not that hard. i've restarted this so many times now, and now it seems i've been away for too long again so they won't work, my old ones. And if that could be one where sex training is activated on the girls, so i don't have to grind that again aswell.. Please, now!
Man, one of my favourite games in the series, but the music leaves me so fucking cold. I really wish Meguro would return to the Digital Devil Saga 1&2 era, the music in those two games is astounding.

As a reminder for everyone, the database has a lot info that people seem to miss out on. It states there that they have her on retainer for serious medical emergencies and other weirdness that may come up on a regular basis. Not saying everyone's questions will be answered there, but a lot of people seem to forget about it or miss it entirely.
Thanks for reply ShinyBoots1993!
Going for first person perspective does naturally provide more challenge, but I believe in one, universal law that rules all kinds of POV content. It's pretty obvious and simple, and yet majority of creators (both artists and real life ones) tend to miss it.
By the way - I think the work event being available triggers the map UI icon to show... an event being available?
If I did not hallucinated this - I preferred the previous way where only actual quests got marked that way.
I guess I'm so used to masochistic being portrayed as more liking pain ( Spanks, choking) versus belittled. I don't really run in those circles and most of my knowledge comes from media, like Stjepan Sejic's "Sunstone" graphic novels. And games where it's always an excuse to have girls like being spanked heh.

I don't think "showering with the bros" is high on the list of features.
The poor shower drain at the mansion. Bathroom cleaner must be the worst chore to have there.
My brother in Christ, we have people skipping the tutorials and then complaining that they don't understand the systems or how to progress the plot.
I don't like to be bitter, and this isn't directed at you, but I've really just been ignoring comments asking questions answered by two clicks and some light reading.
