Okay this has been explained before but I'm gonna get more detailed oriented because there are detractors of how the logic works and I've put more thought into it.

TL;DR Superpowers jumpstarted social acceptance of polyamory due to no one being able to stop the momentum.
Hey, while I appreciate all this detail on your backstory and the reasons for it, I was more so jokingly asking if there'd be in-story ramifications for Null getting with every available girl.

Even in a world like this, I feel an exclusive polycule with 1 guy and 15 girls would be (as you say) noteworthy enough for Xavier to check in and ask Null if he knows what he's doing, for safeguarding reasons. Any headmaster would have to be a little concerned that one of his students is in a massive open relationship with 15 other women (some of whom are fellow students and at least one of whom is a teacher). And the other blokes in the mansion would probably be more than jealous/amazed enough to at least ask a few questions of Null.

And now I feel a little bad because I unintentionally made you write that massive chunk of an explanation up

Interesting to know that not every girl will want to be part of Null's harem, though. That's a neat and simple way of shaking things up and making the game a little more complicated. You're not worried about people complaining "WTF, I can't fuck all the girls in a single save, this game sucks"?

That's the locker room. Personal showers just have one.
Er, are you sure? This is Null's bathroom in my game currently (0.7b):

And of course, the same artwork is used for each of the girls' rooms, too.

I mean I'm not opposed to the idea of three showers, but I was just wondering if there was any particular reason WHY Xavier would furnish each and every one of his ungrateful, superpowered, snot-nosed brats prized students (ahem) with their own fancy slate-grey ensuite with three whole showers.

It's not like it used to be. Most nurses these days pretty much just wear basic scrubs instead of the short white skirt with white stockings that used to be popular.
Yeah. was a callback, same for that that dream sequence where Elliot/Sarah Chalke wore the uniform in Scrubs during one of the later seasons.

But still:

What's my age again? What's my age again?

I completely get why its better for them, and that nurses need to be as comfortable as possible for such a tough job, but still, this has been a horrible compromise for mankind.

Yeah, in RLE i have no problem being Zero A.K.A. mutant Genghis Khan putting in every skirt i see.
But as Null, i really feel odd getting it on with more than one girl, i use one save for each girl and have a general single save for the future.

whens chocolate baddie storm coming out
Chapter 2.

Though through my limited understanding of the term "Baddie" I don't think that niche will be filled by Storm...

Can we get a leash and collar and get some petplay scenes with Rogue?

Just imagine taking Rogue out for a walk in the hallways and around the campus when it's midnight. It'll be a stealth minigame lmao
Possibly. The writers will be made aware of this show of interest.

And now I feel a little bad
Good :p

You're not worried about people complaining "WTF, I can't fuck all the girls in a single save, this game sucks"?
No... Because they'll be able to.

What I apparently failed to explain is that not all of the girls will initially want to join a polycule. The two reasons currently being that they either highly dislike one of Null's girlfriends and the idea of joining in a relationship or sharing Null disgusts them and the other being that they're from one of the mentioned conservative communities that haven't fully accepted all the free love going on. You can convince both of them by being an ideal partner.

I was more so jokingly asking if there'd be in-story ramifications for Null getting with every available girl.

Depends entirely on what the writers want to do with this scenario. I just outline the narrative, I don't execute it.

I admittedly forgot about that... Pulling an in universe explanation out of my ass... It's a rich person's mansion that was converted into a school. If anything is fancy, just assume it was there to begin with because luxurious lifestyles lol

The short white skirt was never a common thing. I can't account for every hospital on earth but I can confidently say for 99% of them they weren't even skirts. It was a modest dress uniform that wasn't all too sexy and almost never went above the knee.

Now I'm a slut for uniforms being as authentic as possible which is why the "slutty" section of Spirit Halloween stores does nothing for me, but for those that it does do something for... I sadly have to inform you that no, female police officers didn't wear booty shorts with their shirts tied daisy duke style, nuns don't have fishnet stockings and thigh high boots either, and nurses didn't expose their cleavage with miniskirts and thongs. (Although I have been informed that some nurses choose to wear thongs under their scrubs)

But yes. The reason nurses dropped the dresses and heals for scrubs and trainers/sneakers is because of convenience.

I double checked with my grandmother who said she was actually part of the movement in the 60s to let nurses and female doctors to wear pants and regular shoes because it was both uncomfortable and made their jobs harder.

THAT BEING SAID... Sexy nurse outfits aren't off the table for inclusion in our game. No promises on if or when though.

You can chalk it up to Xavier trying to prepare for any future students. The bathrooms are huge and there's a bathtub in the background. Its preparing for students with any number of mutations and body types. And some of them do get pretty far out there. But also, they might be shunned by the rest of humanity, but that doesn't mean they can't also be comfortable!

the ramifications will be player exhaustion.

Bunch of y'all are already complaining about being overwhelmed with texts and sexts when you have three girlfriends. Ain't no way you're gonna be able to balance the attention of fifteen.

Nah you're right.

But there currently is no sliding timeline.
I'll confess, I might not fully know what a sliding timeline is...

Bah, "inclusiveness" in an X-Men setting.

He'd have been better off just making a few "big" rooms. Those types aren't all that common and he'd save money.

He could go recruit Blob and be like : "Whoa, ok, yeah, we'll house you in fat wing. All the rooms are on the ground floor with reinforced foundation slabs and no basement. They all have big ass bathrooms too. Welcome to the Institute, fatty." :ROFLMAO:

I was thinking more like the kid who breathed water, to the point where he slept in the X-men's pool and drowned when he lost his powers during Decimation. Because he was sleeping.

"Baddie" = "Hottie", no real difference. Sometimes implies a confident attitude, but most just use it without that added context.

Also seconding interest on the Rogue petplay. I'll even beg for it, if reference material is needed :KEK:

The Brotherhood?
The Hellions?
Arguably X-force?
Trying to prove me right, I see. Did any of those not end in disaster?

heck, that whole span of the New Mutants could be summarized with "In hindsight, putting everyone into their own cliques and making them fight for our approval was probably a bad idea."

Not that Scott or Emma would ever openly admit to being wrong.

Im just saying, we are JUST in the right time for things to end in the usual disaster, its a perfectly good year for mutants to get whiped on the floor again.

Ahhh of course, makes sense how you're gonna play it now.

This ass-explanation is acceptable to me.
I'll confess, I might not fully know what a sliding timeline is...
The sliding timeline Marvel's way of dealing with the fact they've kept (more or less) the same continuity since 1961 without having to actually deal with the passage of real time.

Obviously, Marvel doesn't progress at the same rate as real life, otherwise almost every character would be 60+ years older by now. It's also pretty hard to follow real-time, or something which at least approximates it, when each issue in a series only comes out once a month.

The big problem nowadays in our glorious 21st century is that a lot of Marvel (particularly origin stories and backstories) was often based in real life events and trends from 'the world outside your window': e.g., mutants were originally the result of atom bomb tests, Professor X was a veteran of the Korean War, Reed Richards and Ben Grimm both fought in WWII, Tony Stark was injured in Vietnam, and so on. This was more or less still workable through the 1970s, but from the 80s onwards it became impossible to reconcile these backstories with the ages of the characters as they were then currently appearing.

So ever since, Marvel's solution to this is to pretend that, starting with Fantastic Four #1, everything in the Marvel universe has happened within a timeframe of around about 13 years prior to the present day. The Fantastic Four's rocket flight is no longer a part of the Space Race, but instead will always have happened a dozen years before now. Whenever they show flashbacks to origin stories or 'the past' visuals are updated accordingly, e.g., modern depictions of Spider-Man's origin will have the kids in his school walking round with mobile phones. The timeline "slides" along with the currently published comics. This lets Marvel keep the essentials of the stories intact and avoids having to deal with aging their characters. That last point is arguably a problem in itself, since it's partly why comics have been so stagnant for so long, but that's a different can of worms.

So, Vietnam has now been replaced by a vaguely timeless Indochina war, Soviet villains simply become Russian, and any outdated pop culture references to someone like Walter Cronkite or Edward G. Robinson are brushed aside. Of course for characters like Magneto and Captain America, whose backstories are indelibly tied to WWII, this becomes a little trickier. Though funnily enough Captain America is perhaps the only character who really benefits from the sliding timeline -- the further away he is from WWII, the more out of time he becomes. Back when they first resurrected him, the war had ended only 20 years previously. It actually works out even better (unless you're Cap).

If you want a better, more concise explanation and some proper examples, take a look at .

TL;DR (because I write too much): remember how The Simpsons started out in the early 1990s with flashback episodes about how Homer and Marge first met in high school in 1974, and now they have flashback episodes about how Homer was actually a teenager in the 90s? This is that.
