I see, that is good to hear, so it's more of a problem of the game not telling me (there were other instances were I could ask/do things and the girl would say something like "I'm not ready for that"
So I assumed I would get all possible nicknames and she would simply shyli refuse if I am not "far" enough with her there too.
The game takes a sort of natural approach to the relationships, where they progress depending on how you interact with them and what things you enable with each girl. Imo it's better this way, by not giving you direct instructions on how to progress your relations it makes the game feel as though it has a natural flow to what's happening within it.

I think it even sort of tries to notify, but the red markers on journal get too common.
So its not always clear for the user if we reached some not-listed stat milestone of an LI, or we only hit the "study three times a week" optional for the sixth time.
Maybe we need more colors on the indicators or such.

And talking of UI, and likely under-appreciated efforts:

WHY DID THAT SNEAKY BLUE ELF NEVER BOTHER TO TELL ME ABOUT THIS BUTTON ?!

I needed until my second run to find the tracker, and then facepalm repeatedly over how easy it makes finding the optionals.
This one should really pop open for at least once during the tutorial.

Because it's in big white bolded letters.

Not accusing you but a lot of people get on our case for... user error. Like my brothers in Christ. Just use your eyes, look at the user interface and pay attention to what the characters say.

I don't even respond to people asking for info that the game screams in your face but people don't see because they either skip dialogue or rush through things. Like we've made Kurt break the fourth wall already. There's only so much hand holding we can provide.

We all like to have fun. I also can't credit solely the writing team for some of the small stuff. Our UI guy gets inspiration sometimes. IIRC he named all the stores at the mall and is responsible for half of the Daily Bugle posts.
Tell him that he created a higher expectations for details in the next chapters. Dude is creative and has a good sense of humor.

Homosexuality: Our current artists do not feel comfortable drawing male-on-male content. If this changes, we will fulfill my dream of gayfucking Nightcrawler...
On another note... good to see that I am at least not the only one looking at him and dreaming about that whenever he pops up... :ROFLMAO:

Clearly not from the era of "click everything and find out what it does"
I would openly dare some people to play the original Monkey Island (on the old hardware) with no guide, just to see how they would cope.

Yeah we've drawn a firm line in the sand when it comes around with religion. Free love movement succeeding or not, we do not want to invite that kind of backlash.

Same reason we're not touching Dust with a ten foot stick.

Regardless of the movement, that wouldnt change religions, thats not how they work, and yes i would say that with dust too.

Catholic priest huh...

Here are a few bugs I've noticed with this release.

1. Jean won't accept either the Mystery Novel or the Wholesome Romance Novel. Her dialogue indicates that she takes both of them, but they remain in your inventory and if you click on them in the shop, the gift icon doesn't appear on either item for her.

2. Fashion Guru is completely unattainable in this release. Other users have indicated that it was obtainable in previous versions. 'Make a custom outfit for every character' I've done that multiple times for the three available characters, I even went so far as to wipe out my saves and start a fresh game with nothing unlocked, with no console or cheats, just a vanilla game and I still couldn't unlock it, even though I was able to re-unlock the previously attainable 69 achievements (minus the 3 level achievements that you need the console to unlock which would make it 72).

My probable theory is that the achievement may have been expanded to include the chapter 2 characters, Storm, Kitty, & whoever the third character will be, maybe Emma or Magik.

3. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA appears impossible, while attempting a 4.0 run (yes, I know you can't get the achievement yet, I just wanted a ready save) your GPA always ends up saying 'N/A' if you study too much and attend every class.

Thanks.
