Any full on violence would be controlled by the teachers but getting harassed and shunned by your fellow classmates can take a toll that's worse than just a single fight.
One pulse of his energy absorbing ability would put an end to any harassment.
Not to mention that Null wouldn't get shunned. If anything, male students would probably get Null to teach them how to get a girlfriend. Think about it, new guy shows up and within 2 years ends up in a consensual, poly relationship with half a dozen women. Sure, that might be something to be jealous of, but this is the same guy who tried to take on the Juggernaut to help an injured student and to take the pressure off Colossus, who took on Sentinels to save the lives of other students and ended up in a 6 week coma for it, who fended off a mob of anti-mutant bigots...IN HAND TO HAND COMBAT. And then there was the whole event at the end of Summer. Null's probably a legend at the school by that point. He's never going to be shunned just because he got some with Storm or Dazzler, if anything, it would make him even more of a legend.

I doubt they'll be in the story from the very beginning. Looking at potentially 15 love interests with a staggered story is way too much.
They will most likely appear chapter by chapter. So, chapter 1 - Rogue, Jean and Laura. Then chapter 2 - Alison, Ororo and Kitty.
Yeah, i do think the same, specially cause we have a main storyline and events with them

helping her get with Piotr
Piotr is getting with We might even show it on screen if we adapt the Kitty and Wolverine mini series.

Null's probably a legend at the school by that point.
All that is why he and Kurt get to join the X-Men as full time members before the age of 21.

Actually, when you point it out outside of our PoV, yeah, hes becoming the class champ.

You don't need superpowers to throw drinks, pull out chairs, or refuse to team up during training or missions. Any full on violence would be controlled by the teachers but getting harassed and shunned by your fellow classmates can take a toll that's worse than just a single fight.

It's why I wish that Null had some normal guy pals who he can help get the girl, after getting laid yourself helping your bros score is the next best thing. Helping Kurt hook up with Amanda would be a nice side story or maybe avoid the fallout with Boom Boom by helping her get with Piotr (since Kitty is taken and the poor bastard has suffered enough).

I like idea of Null helping out other bros. Just so long as Evan is on his own and providing us with limitless comedy.

Sounds like a good way to get expelled.

But half the time that's the whole goal of bullying, in order to provoke that big, very noticeable outburst from someone and then use that to paint them as the aggressor. Bonus points if the bully is buddy buddy with overseeing authority, so any he-said she-said will end up in their favor, -cough Hellion and Emma Frost cough-

You're forgetting that the headmaster is the most powerful telepath on the planet and one sweep would get all the answers needed.

You're also trying to add to elements that won't come into play until Null himself becomes an instructor at the school. Hellion, for example, is a non factor as he wasn't added to the comics until 2003, several years after the endpoint of the game. (To remind everyone, the game will look at stories between 1980 and 1996, with the Onslaught Saga becoming the endpoint). And as for Emma Frost, while she will become a member of the X-men, that was in 2001. For much of the 90s, she had either been in a coma or was the co-headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy (where she train the Hellions team and the members of Generation X)

I can see that.
Null is getting it on with the neurotic telepath, the girl with the deadly touch, and the traumatized child soldier? Woah, cool, what a champ.
Null is also banging the hot teacher, the pop star and the diamond dominatrix? yo wtf dude stop hogging!!!
This is exactly what I've been saying!

If I am reading the Discord correctly then the next update should be about the start of "part 2". The next school year and 3 more girls.
Nope. that will be update 1.1, which is nowhere near.

Next update will be 0.8. Between that, 0.9 and 1.0, they will be trying to make chapter 1 as feature complete as possible. and trying to get most or all of the mechanics that will be going on through the entire game. Get it out of the way early and then they can just focus on writing and art.

I don't know if this has ever been discussed but the clothing mechanics are never really introduced in-game, right? That could be something to add (maybe as a relatively innocent "which of these outfits do you think look best on me?" to start with) since it's quite dense to navigate and I'm not sure at what moment it becomes available.

One question: if you gift an accessory to a girl, you have to manually set it for her, right? Does that mean that if you want her to wear it on the regular you need to customize all of her outfits that way?

I believe new default outfits get added as their wardrobe expands.
And if not, that should totally be a thing.

This, if Null buys a girl some sexy lingerie she should want to wear it for him when they are alone together in either of their rooms. I think the swimsuits become default attire automatically after Null gives them to the girls but that's only because the girls don't have any by default.

They pick their underwear at least based on their trust/love levels, so if you buy them nice stuff you will find them wearing it under their default clothes sometimes - at least once they're comfortable enough to do so. (Note: does not apply to custom outfits, those always keep whatever underwear you set in the outfit).

I would think no, right? Like, let's say you put a polished steel can (with its convex surface) out in the sun. The reflective properties would reflex away the light and heat. It would also disperse it being a convex surface. Also, a metal being a pretty good conductor and only half the cylinder can be exposed to light at any given time, the heat energy will travel to cooler side of the can, the side in the shadow, making it harder to concentrate the heat to cook things.
Like, there's a portable that's just a concave/parabolic mirrored surface that reflects all the light and heat energy into a glass tube. If something like a glass oven to trap the heat AND a parabolic surface is needed just to cook a small amount of food, I would think Colossus needs way more than his metal skin.
Yeah, but things in Comic Book Science work dif'rent. There was an incident when the X-men were in the Australian desert and Collossus was working in the sun in armored form (IIRC he had a hard time changing back at the time for some reason). Rogue flew up and gave him a pat on the back with gloved hand, and the heat burned through Rogue's glove. They managed to avoid skin contact because she pulled back in time, but it was a shock to both.
I understand that it is probably too late to answer) But I have something to say :giggle:
Don't be surprised that I am answering completely opposite answers with one message))) Because you are both partly right. What am I talking about?
Metal can indeed simply reflect the sun's rays without even heating up, but this is only on the condition of perfectly polished metal, which will look like a mirror, in our case (looking at the photo) Colossus has a VERY weak reflectivity, because barely noticeable reflections are visible on it, its reflectivity should be around 30%, which is essentially matte.
So in any case, it will absorb a lot of heat because of this, and due to the high thermal conductivity of metal, this will happen extremely quickly.

Regarding temperatures and "burning", I would say that in the comics it is shown "approximately" to reality, why do I think so? If someone really wants (and I don't), you can find a video where a frying pan heated up from high heat and then an egg was broken into it and the white coagulated literally in seconds, which means that the scorching sun was able to heat the pan to about 120+ degrees Celsius, so the Colossus could well have heated up to 150 and higher, because in the desert the reflectivity is even greater and it is on all sides, also the Colossus is larger, which means the heating can be even higher, so I think everyone understands that if you press your hand to this for a couple of seconds, you will get a steak))) But more attentive ones could say: If everything is correct, then why did you say that it is "approximately?"

Although the temperature of the Colossus is capable of frying a steak, this does not mean that it could burn a glove or almost burn a hand not even from holding it but from patting it, this is complete nonsense.

Firstly, it's not some 2 thousand degrees, the glove won't burn in a couple of seconds even if you throw it at the Colossus, especially if it's a leather glove, it won't even start to burn, it will just start to dry out and then just char, even a thin layer will give you the opportunity to withstand a couple of seconds at such a temperature without pain, and maybe more, because the heat transfer through it is not that high, and in our case it was a pat, which reduces contact many times, and in reality it would be possible to pat this Colossus for 10 seconds in leather gloves without any problems without harm to the hand and possibly slight harm to the gloves (( But in reality, after the first or second pat, she most likely felt the heat and would simply remove her hand, nothing would happen to her or to the glove in that case, so nothing serious, at least until you want to hug him with bare skin and cuddle for 10 seconds, because then Most likely you will look something like this, and I don't think anyone wants that :HideThePain:

So, to sum it up, we can answer it like this.
- The Colossus will heat up because its reflectivity is extremely low.
- The Colossus will not overheat if it is polished to a mirror finish, it will simply be warm.

- The hand will not receive any harm from touching the colossus for a moment even if it heats up to 200 degrees Celsius, the reflex will immediately pull the hand away from the metal and the most you can get is some harmless blister, but after a couple of days of smearing with cream and everything will pass, and if the reflexes are very good, it will do even without this, if you really want, you can find a video of a Russian guy hitting molten metal at around 1500 degrees with his bare hand and he doesn't care about it, the laws of physics baby)))
- In our case, in a glove, even if you do not react immediately, then touching the colossus for a couple of seconds would not cause any harm to the hand and glove, and even more so patting will not even particularly heat the glove, so Rogue most likely would not even immediately understand that it is hot, only a couple of seconds after patting this heat would reach her hand and she would just feel very hot in hand, no more. So the comic is lying.
