I wonder if he died as stupidly as he did on the comic, it would also explain the close casket funeral.
It was an utterly pointless death that achieved nothing, mind it would be interesting to see everyone react to it and process that their comrade threw their life away for no sane reason. Xavier especially took it hard in the comic, considering he was mentally linked at the time with Thunderbird.
Wait, where are those previews? I have not seen them.

He had to prove that he was the manliest manlyman the Apache ever birthed even while the entire team is yelling at him to calm his ass and let Banshee deal with it, so that means punching the shit out of a fighter plane in mid air.

I know, all he succeeded in doing was traumatising the team with his death while letting the bad guy get away (yeah, the bad guy didn't even die and continued to be an Avengers villain).

Suppose that is Thunderbird's funeral in the preview. In that case, it'll be interesting to see how it is handled here (possibly with more lasting impact than it had in the comic) and Null's role in helping the team deal with the confused shock and horror of their teammate getting themselves killed for the stupidest reason possible. Makes me wish Scott would be a buddy this chapter, because he would be beating himself up over it, even though there was nothing he could do to stop the stupidity.

i wonder if the mc would go for she-hulk would he be just like hulk, would he just be a male version of she-hulk(meaning like hulk but weaker then him). or would he just have one one of their abilities. also same with anyone who has multiple powers, would he get all of them or would he get a random one every time?

pretty sure they'd have to be a mutant for him to get their abilities like how Null couldn't stop the Juggernaut

If I am remembering the scenes where Null manifested powers correctly, it seemed that he gained the power when he really wanted it, such as in a life-or-death situation, hence why there is a long-standing theory that Null is actually a mind-wiped David Haller, and his actual power is power manifestation, hence explaining the Shadow King's interest in Null even before his powers manifested and the Shadow King's confusion in the end of chapter event. Null would be able to get new abilities from other heroes if he really wanted them. Still, he would actually need to consciously try to manifest them individually, and attempting that also seems to require extreme events for them to actually manifest. However, this isn't universal, considering Null was able to develop low-level X-ray vision and minor shape-changing without any real threat being present, but the canon status of those abilities are in question, and there is probably a lore explanation for that that I missed.

What is clear is that mutant girls he is close to seem to have the easiest powers to copy, as he is already familiar with their abilities due to constant exposure, giving needed context to form a facsimile power and probably x-gene shenanigans.

Again, this is based on my reading of the scenes, and that should be taken with industrial accident levels of salt. So yes, Hulk abilities seem possible, but he would need to try to manifest those powers individually in extreme life-or-death situations, which isn't a good idea.

just because of how the mc has a better version of taskmaster's power, i think it be funny if there was a scene of the mc and others are making fun of him. because you gotta admit he is pretty lame. has the ability to copy, but can only copy physical feats like how to fight, or how to swim like a gold wining Olympic athlete which any one can do with practice, and not only that but in order to do so he has to completely forget something else.

ps- oh, i just thought of something if he copied taskmaster's power would it override his, or would he have both?

Iirc, weren't the devs of the game planning to make Null's fighting something like martial arts with ninja stuff or whatever? If the story progressed and he found out his power was plotium bending and could do whatever the fuck he wanted, then there'd be no reason for that. Just decide you want to shoot ligma beams and get it done before lunch.
