Not related but I've been kind of been wanting to ask either you or Buttholder this, does the $5500 Miranda Lawson milestone include her original $1250 stretch goal of additional facial expressions and arm poses or is it only the base goal of funding her standing art?

Hmm... That does sound like it includes the $1250 stretch goal since it IS more animations and stuff but you aren't sure either?


I stand partially corrected then, though they could still be considered sisters in arms (if Dr. Reyes ever gets the full Love Interest treatment) since if I'm not mistaken they'll be some of the only older, more experienced mutant women that are suitable candidates to become Love Interests during TNH's stated timeline alongside Emma Frost; and she probably isn't going to be accepted as a "sister in arms" before working through a lot of issues with almost every other Love Interest.

But.. what's with her hair, I mean get what the artist was trying to go for but it feels off and I can't pin point where. Not saying the hair style is bad, love how accurate it is but idk, the shadows are off. looks like it was just slapped on in the back



Anyway, haven't been in the thread in a while but i'm guessing Dr.Reyes won't be a love interest in the game anytime soon. Considering the theory that this game is adapting a version of the claremont run of X-Men, Cecelia doesn't become a pivotal character till post-claremont era in certain storylines. My best guess she's just gonna be like Night Crawler or Colossus. Another NPC character that just roams around the map and probably helps heal characters during combat missions and story events. Although... iirc, if the main story finishes (probably years from now), dlc characters might be added so maybe she could be one of those. Then again, the story can change considering X-23 is here.

I believe for the motpart the issue is that the art isnt actually done. the coloration for her neck to the hair behind her head for example is messy in that "work in progress" kind of way. That's why the hair feels off, the locks lack the shading that makes it clear they are overlapping. as a result, it looks like she's got a multilegged starfish on the back of her head.
