Basically: The main story follows a chunk of the Chris Claremont era of X-Men comics with some creative liberties - dating simulation, sex, and weekend barques being three of those creative liberties.

It's a sort of sandboxy dating-sim trainer visual novel. There are elements of each, as well as an over-arching plot and characters tied to actual comics (before they turned into complete dogshit).
