Hey now. As the others have said, I didn't explicitly say it due to us having discussed this scene fairly recently but I did post a "Captain America Recognises That Reference" meme.
I also noticed it when putting together the Metal Gear meme using The_Man_With_No_Name's video, but I also didn't feel the need to point it out due to thinking that we all got the reference due to salscou mentioning it multiple times.

And I'm the guy who doesn't read comics.

Is this just me not even noticing that I replay more 'efficiently', or did devs already adjust the dating requirements or love/trust number gains for the 0.9x versions a bit?

In 0.8x Rogue had long staked out her claim as MCs first GF and was nearly at 'polytrust' requirements by the time Laura even let slip that you smell good.
Now in the 0.9b, you just wake up from the first date night with her, and Laura & Jean are both jumping MC in hallway/room, asking for date #1/3.

Can we have Null not go down like.. well not go down as easily in fights moving forward? I mean dude is getting a course of arse whooping from Laura of all people, unless you are always going to have him face the ending point plot villain from the comics in which case thats going to FEV his powers to absolutely absurd levels, he should be able to handle most fights now with very little trouble.

Oooh so he's still in the guild and married to Bella donna in this continuity?
Yeah. We didn't want all the male characters to die alone and maidenless so we did some comic deep cuts. You can expect Kurt to mention Amanda at some point.

So proper shame mechanics with potential exhibitionism quirk (in whatever form it will be) will be retrospectively added into chapter 1 after 1.0 release already (at least based on roadmap for 0.9 and 1.0)?
Without going into spoilery specifics, yes.

I will refrain from more comments regarding that until trying 1.0 version
Genuinely respected man. There are a lot of people who wouldn't.

Things are being tweaked. It should even out once the 0.9 Stable comes out.

I've read some of Chapter 2's first drafts. I can promise you that Null's training pays off.

The beatdowns in Chapter 1 exist narratively to inform Null and the player what his limits are.

Season 1: Is a show don't tell of characters like Juggernaut can't be nulled.

Season 2: Introduces Sentinels and how Null is kinda fucky around them.

Season 3: Shows that Null is better trained and more durable than the average human. Though he's still not invincible.

Season 4: Shows Null has some weird reactionary stuff when things get cosmic but that does come with a cost.

Season 5: He nullifies his own powers, God of War music starts playing.
