You can pick all or just whatever choice on there you would rather see slightly more than the others. And if am not especially interested in any of these? I'm okay with all of that, but I can't call any of these things kinda essential or mandatory in portraying in-game relationships. What should I do, tick all of them boxes?

Not necessarily.Number 2 is a part of number 1, no?

I have no preferences among these thing in the list. IMO "none of the above" kind of situation, with no such option. You can pick all or just whatever choice on there you would rather see slightly more than the others.
I'd like monsieur ShinyBoots1993 to clarify that one - what did he meant here exactly? I saw "Emotional tone indicators" not as a separate things(icons, text color etc.), but as unambiguous wording or something like that. So you know that option is sarcastic or aggressive or something else. Not necessarily.
As examples, "Clear dialogue choices "are:
"Emotional tone indicators" are:
- Very important, and I'm glad this option is included
- Not Particularly important compared to other things.
- Something I honestly don't really care about one way or the other.
Look, I know that women watch porn, I can understand that certain women will buy and read incredibly explicit erotica, but this is where I draw the line. I refuse to entertain the frankly ridiculous notion that any woman would actually play a porn gameComrades! It turns out that there are women among us! Yes, a little, but this is not a fairy tale or a myth - they exist. Let's rally the ranks while our sausage fraternity is under threat. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Spoilers: vtubers aren't women because there are no women on the internet.
I was actually looking at a game with a black protagonist that was released a few days ago; the comments were hyper-focused on the fact that he was just a regular guy and not an NTR villain like most of the adult games you repeatedly see. As a black writer, I always have to be mindful of these things. Do I remove the racial identity of the characters to appeal to everyone? Or do I just fully send it (blast their races throughout the story without a care) and accept whatever comes my way? It's a huge hassle when I have to wrestle with stupid stuff like that because I want everyone to enjoy my work, but I also want my work to reflect my own identity. When I came across this game, I was super excited because I got to pick who I wanted to be and not have it predetermined. Features like this make it easier for me to envision creating my own adult game, where everyone can see themselves as the protagonist and not just a set individual. For now, I just need to work out how I plan to write such a story. I have so many ideas, I just don't yet have the skill to make the game lolA close friend of mine remarked that there are little to no games on this website with Black protagonists that aren't either a Thug or a home wrecker of some kind. Which is largely true.
This is a driving force for why I push for authenticity.
It's also how I've become aware of the make up of our community... Except for one person who caught me off guard.
