Yeah its cool, but I do think the idea of Null being Earth 69 David Haller has a lot of ground, since Null's powers seems like its warping reality

Do things together with them. So ask one of the girls to follow you, find the other, and choose to swim together, or take class together, or train together, or study together. So long as you do it together, they'll build rapport.

Will the completed Chapter 1 include the ability to see and interact with the other characters currently in the X-Mansion, like Cyclops and Wolverine and the rest? Or is that a later date kinda thing, cause I can see those characters tying into the romance progression of others.

Basically, Ron is going to have to defend his PhD late February, so the next few weeks are going to be spent preparing for it.
This however, also means that the other members of the team are going to have more time to work on the game, so it could be that V0.8 will be larger than previously mentioned.

Hey friends!
I bring news about 0.8: I am forced to delay its release until early March at the earliest. The reason is that I will be defending my PhD at the end of February and have come to the grim realization that I need to grind for the next month and a half to finish my thesis. With past work grinds I've been able to fit in some time to code and animate, but I'm afraid I need to take this one a little more seriously.
Never fear, our artists and writers continue to churn away on new CGs and scenes, so 0.8 will end up being a larger update than initially planned!
I also just wanted to take a second to acknowledge that we hit $3000 per month this week! We are so very grateful for your support. It wasn't that long ago that I was ruining my credit score to fund our art, so to be able to hire our character artist full-time without sinking into the red really means a lot to everyone on the dev team. We've been prioritizing character art for these past few months, but with this level of funding I'll soon be able to start paying for clothing art again, which I know has been a big requested item from the community.

Doesn't seem like "bad" news to me. Waiting two months so Ron can get his Player Hater's Degree isn't much of a wait in the grand scheme of things, and hitting $3K a month is a decent milestone.
This balances out to good news in my opinion, or just neutral "news" at worst.

Right after back to back quick updates to the game. A little bit more time for the next update is no big deal, especially with the quality of content the game has already.
More financial stability for the Devs is really good news out of the announcement.

PHD is a doctorate level qualification (although not necessarily a medical doctor, you can call yourself Doctor), it is one of the highest qualifications you can get at university (There are post doctorate qualifications which are higher). Typically you could expect a professor to have a PHD, although it isn't always needed.

Ironically I get complaints about us not updating enough and our updates being too empty.
Right, because fixing minor things before they become major, and expanding on things slowly to make certain they work right is completely useless. I fully understand and agree that your updates are too empty.
