Yes. The girls will mention it somewhat already. Interactions between them will come later. Group dates and group sex will be in the update after the next one.
Edit: As mentioned below me , that's 2 updates as in 1.0. However, many release versions of 0.8 or 0.9 in-between may mean more than "the update after the next".

That may be what happened to me. I was grinding achievements and loading saves. It is possible that I unlocked it, but then loaded a save that didn't have it. After trying a bunch of different things, I got to the point where I couldn't remember everything I tried; hence, asking here.

It will be added in 1.0. First they need to finish 0.8, then 0.9. So maybe a bit more than 2 updates. Depends how many iterations each update will have.

Yeah I moved all my old saves I had before to a separate folder so I could start this update fresh. I moved one of my old saves into the new one so I could check something in the spring. After unlocking like 50 achievements I loaded one of the newer saves and the achievements and points stayed.
If achievements and points are supposed to stay across all playthroughs as part of the "persistent" save file I'll admit I'm not a fan. But I guess that might be their way of doing a "new game plus".

Don't know for sure. The writing team has scoped out 4 so far but that's just what they have the ground work on.

I'm pretty sure that it has been stated that 6 chapters are planned. I may be wrong, though.

Ditty, my man, I really don't think I'm being arrogant here. your feedback seems to be that I should rewrite the entire game into a new engine because you're not happy with the performance of a multithreading option. that's not particularly helpful and I don't really know what I'm supposed to do about it other than share that it seems to be working for those who select the correct option for their setup. I will of course continue to look at ways to optimize the game, and if you have *concrete* and *reasonable* feedback about how I can do things better (and it's delivered with a *reasonable* tone, which I don't think was an issue here btw), I'm very receptive
It was late, I was drunk and I've had hard time phrasing what I wanted to ask. Trying to search was an overkill to me.
Before I got my CS degree and became a programmer, I worked a lot, and I mean A LOT of tech support jobs. The rule is "If I can't reproduce it, I can't troubleshoot it." So, reports like "It's not working." or "It's slow." doesn't help because "Is it really not working or is it not what the user expects? What part isn't working? Is it all not working? Is it not working only during certain times of the day?" Even for things like "It's slow." slow is extremely relative. One job I've worked at had someone complain their server had lag. The server was in the Seattle area, they were all the way on the east coast of the US. When they finally sent the traceroutes and the pings, my coworker calculated the time it would take for the speed of light to travel, on the curved earth's surface, from Seattle to their location. Between his calculations and the traceroute/pings, there was only 0.07ms difference. Even now that I work as a programmer, I still ask questions when a bug report comes in. In particularly, what part is broken, how to reproduce it, what they're seeing and what do they expect to see. All basic tech support stuff. Hell, you'll see me ask similar questions on all my cheat injector threads and, occasionally, set expectations.
So, if you want someone to look at your issue, especially for free, throw some details. Your computer specs, your game settings, how someone can produce the issue and what you'd expect. Hell, even a video capture would say a lot. Because, how do you expect someone to solve your problem when they can't even see it?

PC gaming has always been a quagmire of issues, expecting otherwise is foolish, that being said I suggest being mean to jean as a cure all.

There will be 5 narrative chapters that go in sequential order. There will be a sixth free roaming chapter where we will be adding in various epilogues and side stories that lead into possible sequels.
Girls introduced in chapters 4 and 5 will also be getting dedicated "DLC" to make up for their shorter screen time.
