Okay. My last bit of GFX for this game at the moment:

Because I was made aware that this site introducing converting images to .avif causes issues for downloading images, get these (and the individual ones) from my , and you can subvert needing a DA account or logging in by using a browser add-on that acts like .

Also, here's a freebee (mainly for the devs) if they want to use it:

Ok here is my idea for a possible "Friendship" increase system between the girls. Just for giggles and bored . My brain was latching onto the idea waiting on renders at work. I doubt it's better then probably what they have planned. Probably way too complex for what it needs to be.

A Weighted option where it assigns values to the dynamics between the girls and also values for the activity you do.

Each tier is 100 points you need to grind. (not sure if that is too high or low. ) You start with 4 points for each activity you do.

So for example you have Laura, Rogue, and Jean. You get bonus point for each pairing that get along naturally. Personalities that get along and don't clash.

Laura & Rogue0.5 ptsRogue & Laura0.5 ptsJean & Rogue0 pts
Laura & Jean0 ptsRogue & Jean0 ptsJean & Laura0 pts
With this combination you would only get 1 bonus point for the dynamic of Laura and Rogue, none from anyone with Jean. Sorry Jean.

And then the activity points. For say Running the Danger room. Laura loves the Danger room, Rogue and Jean not so much

Laura1Rogue0Jean0

And in the end you are with 6 points because they don't mesh as well as a trio. and chose an activity only one of them likes. It will take you 17 activities to increase to the next tier.

But if say you get a trio who gets along with each other and choose an activity they all like, then you could get 10pts meaning you would only need to do the activity 10 times to reach the next tier.

Of course this kind of breaks down a bit just going with a duo as the max points you could get would be 7. Maybe give 3 bonus points for just a duo with it being easier to be more one on one with each other. Easier to hit max bonus points but only with 2 girls at a time versus 3.

Or say your dealing with Emma not getting along with anyone you could end up as low as 4 points. Needing 25 activities to reach the next tier. Then you might decide to work with her in a duo to get the duo bonus to mitigate the general unease everyone has with her.

You could also add a perk/trait (sorry forget what it is in game right now ) like "diplomat" that just gives you flat points of max 10 so it will only take you 10 activities to reach a new tier all the time.

I promise I'm done talking about this now that i got that off my brain.

Dynamic point gain with assigned tier flags that boosts points based on ease of relation would be a good idea, especially with later chapters, though it might be obnoxious to program. An easier solution would just have them start at higher statuses. Kitty, Rogue, Laura starting as Friends, Emma starting as Rivals etc. This still might not be enough in later chapters though.

Yeah like I said they probably have a better system and it's overly complex for what is needed for the systems already in place, it was a fun exercise tho to distract myself from everything going on.

Crap I am going to do another run, was trying to hold out till chapter 2, I've played this game so much.

Ah fuck I'm an idiot...all this time playing since it released that I never bothered to check some parts of the tutorial
I mean you said it, not me. :cautious:

No hate intended but tutorials exist for a reason.

I remember getting mad at Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Though I skipped the tutorial because of hubris. The game isn't harder it just has more depth than previous entries and I wasn't using mechanics properly.

And not saying you shouldn't work for the relationships but after a while the current system will become excessive. I'd rather unlock them by having various conversations with them and only have to grind the rep when they initially dislike each other.
Maybe also making it dynamic based on characters might help
Already the case.

None of the girls are gonna start at 0 and events will give points. Like the BBQ event and story events such is the case of Rogue and Laura.

Serial cheating is pretty much the only way you can screw yourself over.

Jean starts colder to Emma.
To spoil a comic we're likely not going to be adapting. Kitty murders Emma at one point. There's a life long grudge that still exists to my knowledge.

Can you imagine the utter shock, dread, and horror from the girls where a Null who dated none of the girls, then dates Emma.
We're cooking.

Something about her being utterly different in design and personality from RLE drew me to her.
In Oni's case he went with his own original art style rather than continuing Evo's designs and he self admitted that he just doesn't like Jean as a character.

That description by Boots..... it hurts man
Someone finally linked the pain post.

i have never seen how the girls react when they are cheated on and i don't plan to either
Buttholder would be better suited to writing an internal monologue from X-23's perspective and Maddeninggg actually did write something about her need for perfection. I forget where though.

im still unsatisfied till the floofy hair is added for her
It's coming my dude. Let us cook.

Jean is by far the horniest, and thats saying something considering the other two.
She's not the horniest. She's just the most aware of what she wants and most determined to get it how she wants it. Assertiveness does not equal hornier.

I want sum bitches, dammit!
Emma. Boom Boom and Domino if we add them. Some aspects of Magik and Scarlet Witch if we add them.

Hes the king of thieves and a flirty dick that people like alot even though he messes up big alot of times.
In the comics him and Rogue are married, hes a huge ass simp to Rogue at that.

View attachment 4809909
This is the shit that the Kitty/Colossus shippers get real salty about. Especially since Remi hijacked the wedding when Kitty ran off.

Man...I really love Gambit as a character.

It would simultaneously feel odd for him to not be in TNH at some point, and odd if he were-

He would 100% be a peak bro character up there with Kurt, but also...yeah, Rogue is his girl, so that never being an aspect to either of their characters would just feel weird-

...Unless Null has a Cajun accent we're unaware of and is secretly the alt universe Gambit of this world.

It's like I'm torn-

Because on the one hand, gambling with Gambit would be peak brotherly bonding content-

On the other, seeing a world where he and Rogue aren't an item would hurt my soul, even if both were happy and content-

Almost makes me wish for an AU where Null was Remi's best man, and worked with Beast to make a ring or necklace using his powers to remove the angst barrier between them.
You're thinking the right mindset and asking the right questions in figuring out some plot points that will be coming up.

Is this real?

Gambit is genuinely beloved by the LGBT community. Wouldn't be surprised if this was a reference.

Which is insane because the pair literally gave their blessing for it.

Honestly, kind of surprising it's not real, checked with cousin to confirm, Gambit, much like Rogue, was a universal sexual awakening for anyone with a preference towards men. Making Rogue and Gambit the ultimate sexual awakening power couple, all the accents, all the aesthetics, hell, while it's not literally part of the characters, the fact they can't touch one another without getting hurt even throws something in there with vaguely asexual vibes.

You're thinking the right mindset and asking the right questions in figuring out some plot points that will be coming up.
I am curious what exactly you mean by this, if you could clarify? Since my original post wasn't necessarily about speculating what y'all were gonna do. But I take it (doing some actual speculating now) that might mean some characters might be very different or at least start very different from how we know them on "Earth-69"? If so, I do hope that even if that may be the case, it doesn't change the core characterization TOO much from how we may know and love them.

Obviously nothing wrong with characters being very different in your own version, however the way in which those characters end up different being based on factors that may not explicitly be brought up IN story, like forecasted timeline changes by the writers (i.e. character 1 basically ending up as a completely different person from their main timeline because of a specific interaction/relationship with character 2 never happening in this timeline), COULD invite a lot of scrutiny from fans who aren't as familiar with the comics or may not have insight into the writing process-

Basically, if you write very heavily from a Watsonian perspective, even if it makes complete sense IN UNIVERSE, it could end up with a heavy handed Doylist (hand of the author) feel/vibe to some people, who will go "Wait, why is my favorite character in this not my favorite character?", and end up asking a lot of questions about authorial intent when they would probably be better just strapping in for the ride and staying immersed in the universe to see what happens-

I'm not saying this is gonna happen for clarity, but I COULD see how the butterfly effect being applied in-universe to the famous story arcs y'all are covering COULD potentially alienate some people if taken to it's logical conclusion, even if I myself, haven't read the comics, and thus don't know what those "butterfly effect" moments might be.

This might just be the best game this website have ever seen.

Great quality experience, quite baffling how such complex sandbox handles rollback without issues.

There some minor flaws I would love to be addressed though.

Most and foremost I'd like some control of viewpoint. Especially missionary feels weird and I'd prefer if we could see only upper body.

I had a bug with Jean in standing pose not reacting to clothes changes neither in sandbox, wardrobe nor hooking up scene.

Subjectively there's some dissonance between the dialogues and the content in role reversal relationship paths. Poses do not explore the dynamic at all beside footjob.
Standing one would get a second life with small perspective shift. please-put-them-on-takamine-san-key-visual-v0-BXoW8-l7F-Q-A9l3bHXkaDQK7s2PFNlzCyB4xbK-wlo.jpg

I actually already wrote some stuff (I think at least a year and a half ago now, maybe close to two years ago) that'll maybe be added some day, from Laura's perspective. I did three short stories covering a different period of time before the game: one for Jean giving an overview of her life at the school from the beginning that shed some light on her relationship with Scott and why they broke up, one set a few weeks before the game starts that covers one of Laura's sessions with Storm that gives an insight into how she views the world, and one set the day the game begins, dealing with those weird phone calls Rogue keeps getting.

No idea if they'll ever make it in, but I hope they do. The Rogue one, I'm especially proud of. But there is stuff that's been done along those lines already.
