Colossus' sister is Illyana Rasputin aka Magik. She's known for her blonde hair, abs, ridiculous bangs, and swinging around a big fucking sword. Oh, and she's decently powerful, being a Sorceress Supreme of a demonic dimension, being able to teleport through time and space, and she's all but immune to psychic attacks. Plus, you know, big sword.

As for the cat, like salscou said, it's a reference to Charles Xavier (aka Professor X) (aaka Baldielocks) (aaaka Wheels), the head of the Xavier Institute For Gifted Youngsters - the school where the X-men train.

To be fair, in the comic, a good chunk of the team is dragged along to try and get Illyana back, with Kitty being the one to drag her out (setting up their longstanding friendship), so it'll be a fun family ride for the whole team.
