No panic, update #9 of MyTNHConfigMod is still waiting to be unleashed upon you with a couple of new tricks.
Renpy and especially Python is still a learning process for me.
Discontentment is the mother of all mods. No need for pleas to the dev gods if mortals like us can do wonders as well.

No idea how to properly append new database entries yet, but I've modified the existing database with a new Tutorial: Friendships entry meanwhile.

No technical details mentioned. The last line should give a clue that the player has to be among the girls too. The player doesn't earn friendship points but Trust which basically equals those.

I have a suggestion or request: For me as a player, instead of staring at a table with numbers, it would be more pleasant to receive a short notification text indicating that the friendship points of Character X have been increased, similar to Character X +2 Love. Would that be possible?

I have one last Optional mission for Anna:Summer - "Enjoy the Pool Together". But I can't figure out how to trigger it. I've invited her to swim and sunbathe via the phone, and also just found her by the pool naturally. Any tips?

Heh, you're not alone. I should really add some info about these hints in one of the tutorials or add another one.
I have no Android-version experience, but hover-context for these quest-objective tooltips is no option there, is there?

I've also thought about this in the past but lacked an idea why my python changes hadn't worked so far. Thankfully, that bummer is resolved now, so I can take a look again trying to add code. Adding something is always more difficult than changing and removing.
Funny is that I just got rid of the unnecessary level- and XP-notifications of NPCs for update #9, but I'd definitely make an exception for friendship points. Maybe not mentioning points but rather like "Jean likes Rogue more", as I hesitate to mention points that aren't officially supported by the UI.
Definitely useful would be another notification like "Jean became Friend to Rogue" and vice versa. That would be at least the roughest indicator that friendship points have changed something.
I can't promise anything but I'm definitely going to try something.

I'm only curious because I've noticed map icons for Piotr/Colossus as well. The Relationships screen also has a filter for Friend while the ladies will most likely all be treated as Companion. Makes me wonder if there will be even quests for male buddies to train and hang around with them too in the future.
Oh, I can't wait for v1.1 when the X-Mansion finally gets filled up to the attic with more life.

Yeah, the dialogue downright tells you that in year 2 Colossus and Nightcrawler want to hang out with you and be pals.

I'm going to take a closer look later and test this in the game as I'm busy with other stuff at moment.

I've totally forgotten Kurt mentioning something at the end of the Shadowking event:

I've only seen the season finale once so far a few days ago when my mind was totally following Ororo to her attic room while ignoring what the blue elf said to me.

Nothing is specifically mentioned yet in road map, that's why I asked.

What rather modifies Love and Trust now besides the achievement-perks are the introduced traits for each companion: favors_academic (Jean, Ororo), favors_athletic (Laura), favors_social (Rogue).
These modifiers depend on the reputation grades, like GPA, of the player:

Social/Popularity seems to be very easy to gain, thus you will most likely notice more often a bonus on Rogue's gains, while Laura's combat/danger room rating seem to take a lot of time to slowly increase. It's quite difficult to be awesome in both academic and athletic at same time, so rather expect higher point rewards later when you have gained all the stamina upgrades; a time when you have possibly already maxed out all the chapter-1 girls anyway. High reps rather become very useful to quickly increase the stats of the C2 ladies again later, in particular Trust to reach the polyamory requirement again.

That info above has nothing to do with mods but the current game mechanics that have partly obsolete hints in the database. Everyone should know about this, including devs.
When I post code snippets then only for visualizing the mechanics better how they are implemented in the game.

Meanwhile, I've also added a new Tutorial: Quests database entry:

I think that's all important info to know about quests.
Damn, I already scratched on the string limit there before a crash, but I could reword it for the better now.
The entry will also be part of update #9 of my mod later.

On second thought, it's fine. There's not much going on anyway - it's just wait for 0.9. Though the wait between updates is a bit more real this time around since Boots isn't around much these days. ...which I feel as though is partially my fault for the whole posting "Rogue and Magneto when someone cheated on Rogue" thing.
