While it might be cool to meet familiar characters, I'm always more fascinated by newly invented stories.
Chapter 1 hasn't been bad so far, although might be difficult to comprehend who these villains and allies are without more introductions if someone actually has zero Marvel experience. The story surely demands pre-knowledge for better experience.
I only hope the story gets a bit more dense with longer plots than only short villain appearances like Juggy and the Sentinels. The game's main part is surely the sandbox one as playground where you can't really tell much stories besides the character ones. The character stories tied to quest events have been done very well so far telling more about the past and feelings. These alone are the reason for me to play.

Totally fine, but I’m still no that impressed by the sex part no matter how it got graphically changed. If still feels too mechanically going through all the options for the sake of earning more point rewards. As you can easily max out the stats of each girl without hooking up anyway, I guess this should be ignored for a better experience (after you got that silly x10 A+ achievement).
Do it as you like, and not how the game asks for it!

Unfortunately, Scarlet Witch is an Avenger and didn't really get involved with Claremont era X-Men.

No, trust me, the current iteration with her being highly neurotic isnt far from the truth, the ammount of time it took for Scott to smash that in the comics went beyond a decade.

Mystique will never be a love interest as that is just too fucked up a situation, as well as the fact that it's heavily implied that she mentally abused Rogue when she was her foster mother.

Mystique has been shelved for now. She won't even be appearing for quite some time so we just don't have any urgency in thinking about her as an option.

Madelyne Pryor won't be a love interest due to how creepy that would be for Null to be having a relationship with Jean and her clone.

This is part of it. Faux-incest is one thing, but to answer the age old question, yes fucking your clone would be incest. Especially when they have distinct personalities.

Illyana is kinda up in the air because of her sudden aging. She's there one moment, a young girl, disappears for a moment and is now an adult, with no socialising with any other humans for nearly a decade, no matter how you look at it, it's sketchy.

We have no plans on showing a young Illyana in the sandbox and Null will never interact with her directly.
