I know for certain that the record player Jean gave ended up as a decoration to the MC's room. She was the first one I started dating early on in the game and I didn't start dating the other 2 until much later. That record player was the only decoration in the MC's room for quite a while. Also, it shows up in the key inventory with the rest of the decorations for MC's room (Where you can turn them off) along with the cell phone (Some reason theres two of those). All of the decorations that I've been able to give out have been purchased and showed up under the gift inventory. I've already given the girls every gift you can except for Laura's record player.

I'm well beyond the Relationship I quest for Laura and had no issues going for polyamory with all 3 girls. At this point I'm guessing I just ran into a bug. Maybe getting the record player from Jean first bugged out the one you can buy for Laura. Or maybe I triggered a season end just before the Laura_enjoying_being_girlfriend event popped up. Thanks for the help!

Edit: So I tried gifting the record player that was under the key inventory and it worked. Two problems with that though. One is that if you have the record player disabled so it doesn't show in the MC's room when you give it to Laura, it doesn't show up in her room. The other is that once you've given her that record player, the MC no longer has one and I'm not sure if you can be given or buy another one.

Funny, I had no idea yet that you can already have player room deco. I was totally focused only on the girls and haven't bothered playing much further than finishing the quests and season finale yet.
I do know that Rogue also gifts after her boyfriend events an electric_guitar, sound_system, acoustic_panels, but never thought that this stuff could already be graphically supported. Ah yes, I also remember a motorcycle_helmet gift by Laura after you gift her her own motorcycle_helmet after 3 days.
Alright, when v0.9 hits one day or year then I'm going to update my deco guide with also the player deco stuff and especially checking out the possible issue with the record_player.

The game checks for each girl's inaccessible inventory if certain items are available. If available then it it shows the deco. Same works for the player.

BoomBoom canonically is all talk. I mean she eventually got laid, I don't remember who, but she was made as the usual delinquent going through a phase who didn't have the courage to back it up.

From what little I know of her modern rendition she's a "playful slut" in that she's not genuinely slutty but doesn't care if people think she is.

Maybe. Dazzler's history is complicated. The X-Men find her when she's still really early in her career and all the fucked up Hollywood stuff that happens in her solo book doesn't happen until after she rejects joining the X-Men.

But the moment she's dropped from her label because she's a mutant she becomes an insiatatable man-eater.

This is actually in line with her history in the comics. Her father was a reputable judge and wanted her to become a lawyer. Rather than rebelling in the way we assume girls do today, she just got into music.

To be blunt. She got into a Ke$ha situation. It was very uncomfortable. Involved a lot of drugs, irresponsible sex, and abuse from her label.

Reminder that this was the late 70s and early 80s. The Dazzler book was an active callout against the industry.

Honestly my latest memory of reading BoomBoom was Nextwave, and she was definitly a playfull slut there.

The 2020s are having a resurgence of 2000s in America. I went to the mall yesterday and for a second it looked like I was back in highschool.

All three initial girls in TNH for different reasons normally wouldn't care but all three for equally different reasons still shave their pits.

The only one i could even think of that is Rahne, and thats mostly because shes clueless and endearing.

She's Irish and had a strict Christian upbringing so yeah she's one of the more obvious ones.

It's been quite a while since I've came across a quality game. Then again, I'm not perusing the board as often as I used to in my youth, but still. Rogue Like has been in my rotation of H-Games since it was just Rogue and Kitty as the only characters to romance. Now, all these years later, here is basically a reboot that improves on the concept in a major way. Crazy to see.

The writing in particular stands out in the best way. Characters really pop in terms of personality and they are even given relatable motivations. Not only that, but this actually gives us a story to work through. While I enjoy the sandbox nature of the OG Rogue-Like, I always wanted something to work towards overall. NH does that wonderfully, while also letting us go at our own pace and enjoy the sandbox. I cannot heap enough praise on that aspect of the game.

There are some aspects that I feel could use a bit of work. The actual sexing is fun, but taking us to what basically seems like a pocket dimension to perform the act is a bit clunky, imo. I imagine it's due to how intercourse is animated in this game, but it's not a seamless transition and feels pretty limiting at this point. Also, no improtu sexcapades as far as I've seen. However, I haven't gone through the thread to see what's planned and I'm still working my way through the game, so perhaps I'm speaking prematurely. I just know Jean and I couldn't knock boots at the swimming pool after a late night swim.

I'd also say the wardrobe system is a bit odd as well, but I haven't really played with it enough to really say it's bad. The UI is just a bit funky to me.

Overall, really love the game and excited to see where it goes. I still enjoy Rogue-Like and all it's spaghetti code glory, but this is most definitely shaping up to be the homo superior project.
