Laura's Alice outfit was one of the worst things to lose with the old mod.
And her getting more demanding and want you to get fit for 100% combat reasons and no other reasons at all, i can assure you...well thats hot too.
Now I feel vindicated for all the hours I spent drawing that outfit on a busted bamboo drawing tablet only for the mod to get discontinued :giggle:
Can't wait to see what an actual artist can do with it

Just wanna say that this is a great game! I read Jean's bio and it says that her age is 21. Shouldn't she be closer to Storm in age like mid 20s to early 30s?

They're going for an X-Men Evolution kind of thing where most of the girls are younger than their comics counterparts and are still studying.

Not entirely evo. Depends on the character as some are younger than their comic counterparts but some are older. All hinges on what events we plan on adapting and when because we will be shifting characters around timelines a bit

Thanks for clearing that up.

Ok, a question.
Null's nullifying powers are not new in the world of X-men concept wise (I definitely remember power dampening collars in the old cartoon). Was there ever any explanation how the mutant power nullification works in comics or cartoons? I mean mutants have different powers and different power levels but do they have some similar source? Mana pool? Chi?). Do they have some single general trait that unites them? Because logic-wise, I doubt that Storm's power to control weather has the same biological origin as, for example, Logan's healing factor.
Or it's the good ol' "It just works"?

So the X-gene is the universal for all mutants? And it remained unchanged for all of them? Or am I missing something?
In the Marvel universe a mutant defined is a human being that possesses a genetic trait called the X-gene. It causes the mutant to develop superhuman powers that manifest at puberty.

If someone develops powers through some other means and they do not have the X-gene, such as Spider-man, then by definition, they are not mutants, but mutates. Very important definition.

And admins/mods, this is a topic relevant to the game as it will more than likely come up at some point in later chapters.

So... how does Null's ability or X-gene behave in regards to other methods of nullification or dampening? We already know he can touch Rogue who was already the "anti" type, so to speak. What if he had one of those dampeners on him? What's the exact nature of his ability?

I guess Null's powers are akin to Jimmy's (who is based on another character if my memory serves me right) from The Last Stand.

I don't think dampeners would work since we've seen him try to use it on the Sentinels and it didn't work then. it must mean that it only affects natural mutants and not others with powers

I love everything about this.

Death by hand holding.

Not sure what you mean about the Sentinels. They just couldn't tell what was up with Null.

Though I will confirm that he does have the X-Gene. If you want to know why it triggered when he was 18 instead of puberty and why no one can pin down what the heck is going on with him... Play the upcoming chapters :)

what I meant was because they were technology, his power didn't affect them in anyway which I think means the only people he can affect are mutants as we saw with Juggernaut who he touched but was basically told "bruh, what are you doing?"
