Null's abilities would at the very least make him a very valuable handler/therapist/teacher for the mutants whose powers are a massive pain in the ass and who need extra help to get them under control - sort of a continuation of what he's already doing for Jean but applied to other people presumably without boning them.
I feel like Chuck might have bigger plans for him though.

Not wrong, though we would very much need a solid payment plan if we were to be the go to person dealing with problem children.

Let's not forget the elementary and high school populated by Null's kids.

No. The "pattern" just became a thing because of the art we already had. Yes Ron has updated the art but updating art and getting completely new art are two different things.
If we went with comic 100% accuracy(With ages adjusted) this is what the game would look like.
Dazzler is a Fling in this hypothetical Chapter 4 because unlike what we're doing with our game, Dazzler doesn't become a full member of the X-Men until after the Onslaught Saga.
We're still tweaking it to the best of our ability.
As far as I know Storm's major issue is her claustrophobia, which Null can't and won't cure, and the growing violence with humans.
Dazzler's concerns are about her career and a strained relationship with her father.
Kitty has a pretty fantastic life until her parents get divorced in... If I had to ballpark the timeline... around chapter 4?
Though this is just stuff you can find out by picking up the comics. What the writers choose to do is anyone's guess.
My deadline for the outline of the plot beats we have to touch on for character consistency and what resources to consult for inspiration isn't due until around mid Jan.
Also don't ask me for spoilers as I have none. My job is literally to compile all of Uncanny X-Men from October 1976 to October 1980. Yes the build up to the Phoenix Saga and its execution was that long.

This would be 100% be a player decision if Null's role as a faculty member is made an option.
Unless Ron gets ambitious, we'll probably just say Null is a professor and your scholarship dictates any classes outside of general lecture that you teach.

Well, if Null gets his degree in four years, then yeah, that's two years of time after graduation. But it was kinda rare at that point. Not really trying to speak for your writers here, but the average graduation time from college has been creeping up, mostly due to extra requirements getting added to degrees. So while it might be possible that he gets his four year degree in four years, it's unlikely, unless time spent on a team counts towards college credits. Which is actually something Charles would set up. Mostly because as much of a dick as he can be, he does know how to motivate people.
