I would unironically hand the reigns of X-men to the TNH team, atleast they like the damn comics and characters.
I cant believe the characters read more like how they are supposed to sound like and act the part better than the actual comics.

To be somewhat fair, "ruin Scott's day" is a story trope they've used for awhile now. I guess it's almost tradition at this point.

But yeah they don't really seem to understand their own characters... or anything else they own for that matter. But that's a parent company wide problem.

By the way, I know the gals are the focus, but were there plans to hang out more with Kurt before 1.1? I'm assuming more of the boys will show up in 1.1.

I was digging a bit in the files and saw reference to Scott, his bro Alex, Wolverine, Hank, and Colossus.

How far is this game? Is it as long as rogue-like? is there a clear endgame yet (like when you max out a character in rogue-like and unlock all interactions, I can't think of a better word for it).

Rogue-like isn't finished yet but the characters feel complete if you know what I'm saying, at least that's how it is with most characters apart from the newer ones. Is this game the same? Or do the characters just run out of dialogue and content abruptly?

This game has an actual story, you go on X-men hijinks and then lewd the girls on your slice of life parts.

What's gonna be Dazzler's relative age and relation to the characters? Like we know Storm is a teacher and Kitty is most likely gonna be our underclassman. What's Dazzler gonna be?

No. Not far. They are just now finishing the first chapter which is divided into 4 playable mission sections based on seasons of the year, each ending in a main mission narrative bit. They're also finishing and testing the system features before moving to chapter 2 which I assume follows the same formula.

They have the writing so far scoped out to chapter 4.

I fought for the Marvel girl outfit because it was in line with the other girls having Krakoa outfits similar to classic but Ron already had the OG TV show option.

A feature I want, but isn't on the table for budget reasons, was that each chapter the girls would change super suits based on the outfit they were wearing during that arc. Though Kitty would be a huge money sink for that idea lol.

But yeah all suits are on the table. It's just a time and budget thing.

MAYBE.

Previews of some other mansion areas have been out for awhile so if we can get them programed in I don't see why we wouldn't throw some Nightcrawler hang out sessions before Chapter 2.

For the others.

1. Scott would leave by the end of Chapter 2 so waste of art and time to have him running around the sandbox.

2. The greatest crime that comes from hating on Scott is that his brother is WORSE. Scott actually has redeeming qualities.

3. I outlined Wolverine to be included in Chapter 2 as a sandbox bro but the budget is currently doesn't permit when we got a bunch of girls to get drawn.

4. Hank doesn't rejoin the X-Men till like halfway through Chapter 4 in the comic timeline.

Roguelike has been in development for a good 10+ years longer than TNH. so no, they are not as far along as Roguelike

as for the progress of the game, chapter 1 is complete of a planned 5 chapters, and there are still features and mechanics to be added in upcoming updates. They're in it for the long haul.

From what I have seen of Marvel and DC's current crop of writers not only do they not read the source material, they get incredibly offended if you even bring it up. Also, while Scott does get some of the worst of it since Jean is a walking drama factory lets not forget the other girls. Kitty has put poor Piotr through hell, and the rest of the X girls aren't much better.

It says something that the girl with the deadly touch is one of the few that is the least likely to shave years off your life through stress alone. I have said it before and will say it again, the X boys should all have human girlfriends for no other reason than their own safety and sanity.

I think you're right. I think it was removed during the wardrobe overhaul. I know there are a few pieces I'm waiting on for Jean.
