I have nothing against TNH Jean, hell i like her very much, is just that max quirked Jean gettin platonic'd gives way for the most hilarius of situations because thirsty, secretly horny Jean is hilarius.
That said, the team really needs to work on hey psychic freak mode, theres no way she cant use her mind for that, even without phoenix'd Jean.

True. Null's power blocking has a range. Can he even block telepathy? Or is it something he has to actively try to do? Xavier can still talk in his head. Anyway, Jean's powers are on the fritz right now in the story. Maybe when she has a better handle.

For her, your outer Ego/Jungian Persona can be like a one-way mirror. It took me two years to understand in which ways certain traits of my friends' player characters reflected their selves. And that was a tabletop D&D campaign where we fought a sentient manifestation of the Jungian Shadow. She could do it in a hour.
And when it comes to morals and fetishes and fantasies, she could have an outlook that nearly no comic book author would be willing/capable to deal with, and certainly not Marvel. I know 2 or 3 writers & psychoanalysts that have the experience on what it means to have telepathic access to the fascinating variety of Human minds.

He can turn this off to a point but there's more than one scene where he pushes it and things just are out of his hands. I won't spoil the content of the scenes because they're well written.

I really hope when they introduce Scott to Null he's not unlikable, I know there's X-Men media like the fox movies that like to shit on Scott and make him look bad, but I'm really hoping the dev's for this game don't take that route for him.

For Laura it would be Julian, Synch or Warren.
Warren has got plenty of ladies so its fine, and the other two can get fucked so double fine.
