Considering that Nulls powers only manifests when he endures trauma, it is not to far fetched to speculate that she is going to be a reoccurring character. And some latina representation could be cool

I'm honestly surprised she's involved with the X-Men at this point or even acknowledging that she is a mutant. According to the wiki, she doesn't even join the school, much less the X-Men, until Operation Zero Tolerance, which is years away at this point (I think... Marvel timeline makes no sense).

It goes to show that, outside the obvious changes (Laura and Rogue joining much earlier, Jean's break-up with Scott), there are significant timeline changes that have radically altered things from the mainline universe. Goes to show how different things are, and on a related note, how much research the writers have put in for this game because I guarantee they have put in an absurd amount of research to make the character fit in the new timeline.

Goes to show how different things are, and on a related note, how much research the writers have put in for this game because I guarantee they have put in an absurd amount of research to make the character fit in the new timeline.

What that means specifically and to what extent? You'll have to keep playing to find out.

There is a specific reasoning for that I believe. I may be wrong, but I believe that at one point at least the dev team had stated that there will probably not be art for any female characters that aren't LI's, flings, or the like.

To my understanding the intent was to waylay complaints/concerns about this character or that character not being an LI despite having art.

I do not know if that is still the case however.

If a character has art, expect interactions with them. Yes Kurt and Colossus will have bro hangouts that have story and stat gains. You sadly can't fuck them... yet.
