Very cool game, really love the design. Played a good long while now and have a few things I am not sure about. at what point in romancing do the girls start getting mad for you seeing the others? because I am with rogue and when jeans friendship quest finished I said yes to her too expecting backlash but so far neither have brought it up. Also is there a trick to getting certain events to spawn? because I CANNOT get x 23 to train at night and its completely locked me off of progressing her quests.
Can't tell you about any exact conditions to get them to spawn, but some do not seem to trigger when you are already inside the room where they will appear, which might be your trouble there.
Try pic related to make sure you not miss any when they do occur. The yellow ? ones are the events/optionals.
I need help, I can't find the use of X-ray. I can't find it in the option - sex scenes - or anywhere else.
Also the grind of study is way too tedious. Cheating won't be a good idea to me.

The X-ray options only happens in 1 scene with X-23 in, I think reverse cowgirl position. If it is liked by patrons, it may be expanded to elsewhere..

I believe they will get upset with you if you actually go on a date with the other girl, while already in a relationship with another girl that has not agreed to you dating the new person. Just saying yes to the date doesn't trigger the reaction.
So you can say yes to the date with Jean, ask Rogue if it's ok. Have her probably say no, then wait to trigger the actual date until you can increase the friendship between them when Rogue is okay with it.

Absolutely, you will need permission from the girls you are currently dating before the first initial date with someone else. Just make sure to hang out with them together and boost the friendship between the girls, or be prepared for a very upset partner.

If you have enough love and trust points with Rogue and have talked to her about going poly with another girl and she's cool with you seeing Jean: You're good. No one gets angry.
If you don't have enough love and trust points with Rogue and you try to either flirt with, give a gift to or date Jean: You're in the dog house for a week.
So, get the numbers up with Rogue and ask her if she's cool with you dating Jean before you date, flirt with or buy things for Jean. Group training, group studying, movie nights, group swimming and barbecues shouldn't trigger Rogue's wrath.

It's specifically when you have the conversation with one of the girl's asking them to be your girlfriend, or them asking you to be your girlfriend. You can technically "date" all 3 at the same time without repurcussions before making one of them your gf. To do so you must complete the 'dating' quest for a girl the one where you go on 3 dates. After that you can ask them to be your gf, they may also initiate the conversation if you wait long enough. At the end of that conversation there will be an option to tell them about wanting multiple partners she will either accept or decline your request based on the Love/Trust stats, iirc 250 Love and 600 Trust for her to accept. Even if she declines initially you can ask her again under the "talk about relationship" option once you have the required stats. After she accepsts a poly relationship you still have to ask permission to date a specific girl, If you don't she'll get mad, this will make the relationship between the 2 girls worse. I.e. if you're dating Jean and cheat on her with Rogue, Jean will become upset at you AND Rogue making their relationship worse. The 2 girl's also have to be at least 'Friends' which you can check by going to the 'Relationship' page in the ESC menu. If you click on a girl it'll show her relationship with you and the other girls on the right side of the screen. The color of the border indicates how they feel about that other girl. To raise their relationship with each other refer to Nexiv's comment above.

Or to be less referential: Do you know/remember if this was added/changed after the cheating system got fixed (during the 0.5 era), or has it always worked this way and I just haven't noticed (due to me not wanting to play this game as a QA tester)?
Either way, this info flips the Consent Simulator™ script a bit.

You can date the girls 2 times, but the third date is when youre oficially in a relationship.

I think finishing the 3 dates is the prereq for having the gf conversation but you aren't in the relationship officially until after having the conversation. Even if the girl initiates the conversation you have the option to postpone it until later.

This shit is crazy. I, for roughly a year, thought that Consent Simulator™ was an uptight system which required caution and precision in order to not run afoul of any girl's feelings. And it turns out that Consent Simulator™ is actually a firewall with one or more loopholes.
...I need to marinade on this for a minute. This shit is rather difficult for me to process at the moment. I'm still on Windows 10. I need to upgrade to 11.
