Maybe Kitty? Maybe Rogue. Jean, Dazzler, Storm wouldn't be interested. Emma would lose patience with the idea right after you ask. Laura would be more interested in tabletop war games.

Now I have the image of Laura with a Chaos SM spiked on one of her claws while painting it with utter focus in my mind

In Evo Kurt likes movies, video games, and Soccer(They are in the US. Nobody jump at the name). He also sword fights.
Piotr likes gardening and painting if I remember right. So yeah, maybe model painting.
Outside of creeping in people's heads, the only hobby I can think of for professor X is playing chess or other strategy games.
Y'know, Dawn of War 40k came out 2004 so that's a good common point. Laura might like violent games, Kurt likes video games, Xavier likes strategy games, outside of dancing Kitty likes tech so probably video games.

Was thinking Nightlords or Khorne berserkers to let her more crazed anger moments run free in safe ways, but RavenGuard works more for her positive side.

Laura doesnt enjoy her anger or losing control though, they are parts of her personality but she sure as hell doesnt like the fact that she can flip a tit and start killing people, shes not sabertooth's kid.

Think he'd like Master of Magic more - same 4X style but even more shenanigans you can pull with unit enhancements and the like.
There's also fantasy, Skaven might also interest Laura.
Xavier being an old-school Grognard would be completely in-character.
I can also see him attempting to revive that if Null gives him the opportunity, drag in Scott with the excuse that it'd improve his strategic thinking (which, to be fair, it and its predecessor were both actually used by militaries for that purpose. Wargaming has an insane history.)
Wolverine shows up with an original 1880 copy of Strategos and distressingly authentic period uniforms.
Things escalate from there as everyone gets way too into it.
Even if he isn't into it, everyone will probably be asking him to paint their models.
I mean knowing Cap he'd probably be down for wargaming as well.

I can see it happening, Scotty is autistic enough to roll with it, that could be Null's bonding with cyclops.
Well yeah, hes a 1930's dork, but i mean the rest of the avengers, she could be gossping and talking about fashion with Janet instead of dealing with a mansion where atleast 1/3rd of the population its a major spastic nerd (looking at you, Hank!).
It'd probably be the closest thing to fun he allows himself to have, as it is still training his mind and strategic thinking, along with letting him see how his teammates think.
It'd be another motivation for Xavier to push Scott into wargaming as it'd be a needed outlet for Scott that still lets him bond with his fellow teammates while not pushing them to the same limits that Scott does in pretty much everything he puts his mind to.
