While yes we are very much inspired by the comics, some things will indeed be changed. Sometimes drastically so. For example, Jean and Scott not being an item changes a lot already that we've taken into account.

Trust me, as a comic nerd I know the stuff my fellow nerds want to happen. It'll happen. Though likely not 1x1. Without spoiling, I can already tell you that there will be differences in the introductions for Kitty and Dazzler compared to their 616 counterparts.

So minor things like eye color may not be as consistent.

I had honestly never payed attention to Dazzler's eyes in the comics, i was used to her eyes being white due to the mask, so i didnt notice them being different from the comics.
But i assume that the fellas that are big fans of her do notice it, just like how i noticed Laura didnt have green eyes when i first played.

I remember seeing a preview that Null is present at Dazzler's recruitment, so, from a purely speculative standpoint, is the change that the recruitments occur at different times instead of simultaneously like in 616? Or is the difference that Null completely fucks over mastermind with his null power by accident?

Either way I am looking forward to it and fucking over mastermind.

Their recruitments were not at all simultaneous in 616. They were introduced at the same time, but Dazzler refused to join for almost ten years. She did her own thing for a very long time were as Kitty more or less joined right after introduction.

Yeah, I'm in agreement with your meaning then, now that it is clear. I suspect they'll be inducted more or less simultaneously and that Kitty won't be in Junior High. I can't imagine there's much else they'd need to change in her story, but I reckon we wait and see.

Sure. Nothing ever needs to be 1 to 1. Narrative things like what you mentioned with Jean mean major changes are made to character so things make sense. X-23 changes so that she can even be here and what not.

So why change the eyes? Before it seemed to be so that there was variety in the only girls in the game. But now is it just artist preference? Just to be different? Or...

I have not seen anyone provide proof that this isn't the intent behind Paul... Or any intent behind Paul. He's just there as far as I'm aware of.

To be 100% honest... This is the exact reason I didn't catch it initially. I try to read the side comics and solo run guys but some of them are a slog to get through because until Secret Wars, Marvel did not care about timelines in single run comics let alone what other characters were getting up to.

Like early Dazzler, where she's unmasked, isn't even a proper super hero comic. It's slice of life Hollywood where the singer just happens to be the source of her own pyrotechnics. My attention was purely on the team ups with Spiderman and Hulk and that one time she met Doom.

We have official beta releases. That doesn't mean they're stable.

We also have a lot of unofficial beta leaks which most definitely are not stable and will likely break your save.

Unless it's from RonChon specifically, you're likely not going to have a good time.
