Soon.

We don't have a fixed date from the Devs yet, but the public beta is coming out soonish and will probably drop sometime this month, so you won't have to wait long. They're probably just squashing some last-minute game-breaking bugs before releasing the beta to the public for more general testing.

Sadly we're still at a point where 100% of the $$$ goes directly to the art with everyone else working part time.

Completely understandable. I was suggesting that there would be at most a close-to-release notification for the beta, depending on stability, code issues or uploading speed. I should have used different language to make that clear. Apologies for that.

I often don't. When I sometimes answer "update when" I do it usually so that it's answered quickly with enough info to satisfy so the thread can move along without drama or if it's been awhile since it was asked last.

I don't answer friend points anymore unless the thread refuses to move from it.
I gave my recommendation to Boots and Co. about the friend points gains to have for either Kurt tutorial dialogue/database entries or point indicators since it's a reoccurring confusion among players. Beyond that not much you can do about the groundhog day questions.
