Is there a specific threshold you need to get in terms of the girls doing activities with eachother? I have spent the entire week trying to get Jean and X-23 to be friends by doing Danger room sessions and the Saturday BBQ together but it seems like their relationship is in permanent limbo.

Probably not. It can take a while. Group danger room, study sessions, etc. are best, depending on how many actions per period you get.

I would not include Anna Marie in the group at this time. Either there is a bug where Jean -- Laura don't get closer when she's present or there's a bug with not displaying toast messages saying they're getting closer. I lean to the former, but there are contrary reports.

I also feel like it added a lot of welcome sexual tension to their dynamics that led more naturally into dating, like watching Jean always get overexcited and embarassed about calling MC her lil bro, I was always like "ok is this a sex thing? is this some kinda fantasy of hers? is this her idea of flirting/testing the waters?"

and same with laura and her overprotectiveness/smell fetish. It just adds more buildup beforehand, which I feel is lacking in the current version. beforehand, laura would always be commenting on how good the player smells and tracking them down etc, you're like "oh shit i think she's into me, i wonder if shes ever going to realize? should i do something about this?"

without these things, the transition to dating feels abrupt and without any buildup
