As has been the case for most of the last two years, the primary impediment to speed is art funding. The game is currently (and for most of the last year) operating about $1500/month short of the funding goal to streamline the art process from ordering to implementation. That delay perpetuates itself as new ideas are added before old ones are fulfilled.

There are currently 5433 members signed up for the Patreon. Only 795 of them contribute anything at all (500 of which contribute 5 dollars or less).

Ron has explicitly stated that if most of the 4600 members who contribute zero were to instead contribute even a single dollar a month, the artist could be paid for full time work and Chapter 2 would be released in a couple of months.

At the current rate of funding, yes. Probably late mid-late 2026.

There's an awful lot of impassioned discussion about this game in this 1000+ page thread focusing on the girls, on feature preferences, on characterizations, on artwork, on timelines, on coding, on options etc. If everyone here was as passionate about funding the game as they are about complaining about slow timelines or demanding/requesting X or Y or Z features be implemented, well...we'd have Chapter 2 by Christmas and a lot of those requested features would probably be present.

Subpar funding slows down progress and causes the devs to have to make tighter decisions about what they implement and when.

You want to see new girls sooner? You want more poses or more clothes or more cum in target locations or whatever? Put a little money where your mouth is and go help out on Patreon. You'll see all that shit and more.

But so long as the artists can't be paid for full time work, shit's gonna take a while.

Speaking as a member of the dev team. Once 1.0 comes out, which will not take more than 2 years, updates will be focused entirely on new content since we'll have all of the under the hood stuff complete.

Quick question, does this Emma Frost already have a diamond form ?

That would depend on the writing team and how they decide to tackle that, the characters arent extrictly following the same path and there are characters here that shouldnt be around until much, much later, but atleast in the comics at this point she doesnt.

As we've shown, there is art of her diamond form but it's up to the writers on how they want to use it.

Holder, who frequents here, is more of a comic expert than I am and Maddening has repeatedly given me reason to trust him even if I don't see the bigger picture.

That sort of reaction from Rogue specifically doesn't make sense.

Basically your now stuck pushing a boulder up a hill and a misstep will cause the bolder to go all the way to the bottom of the hill again.

Okay so you've done two thing that have rustled my Jimmies.

1. It's rude to advertise not only another person's game but a competing game in a thread.*

2. You didn't even bother linking to the game's page, just the download link which means you're robbing engagement in that community's forum.

*I know I have suggested other games, including this one, but I am both a member of this game's dev team and I do that for when I find commenters who show that they might not prefer our game.

There really should be a way to track friendship progress in-game, 'cause ngl not knowing how far along you are makes it feel way longer than 20

This has been a really common complaint. I'm going to bring it to the devs. The status is inherently fourth wall breaking. I don't mind showing the raw numbers needed to getting to the next tier.

Then why are you playing this game? 90% of the content is unlocked as you play it and isn't repeatable as we've yet to implement a gallery.

Is there a way to appeal that decision? I understand that is annoying since they add more hair.. but.. no other game acually cares about that so... Im sad.

As a member of the dev team I can confirm that everything in this post is 100% true.

If we had our desired funding, all clothing could be partially undone during sex, all hair could have cum, and a dozen features that aren't in the game due to art restrictions would already be in the game.

Unless it is Ron or myself you should take everything that seems like confirmation to be assumed unless it is directly linked to something he or I have said.

And even in that instance the dev team may change their mind or we have a boost in productivity that makes things come out sooner.

Edit: Example. Tattoos were on the list of no. We did a crowdfunding to implement them and now we have them.

However that is because they were presented there even if you didn't want them and if they were activated and you weren't dating them, they had romantic undertones.

Heh in my very first run, I pissed Rogue off so much that her friendship level with Jean was at -80 (enemy status), and without cheating, you'll have to grind for a very long time to get it back to 0. The TNHUXmod shows you these friendship values in the Relationship tab, if you're interested.

Something weird is happening as I create an outfit for Rogue.

I create the basic outfit and note that its total shame is 505 and I want the outfit to be public, so I toss on some socks to see if I can trim the last 5 points and the shame total drops to 380. I take off the socks and the total remains 380.
