Laura used to need compression gloves to not hurt herself while using the claws since hers actually come out from between her knuckles, wich do actually show up in the game, but Logan used to have actually functioning canales in his body, atleast during the time period TNH takes place in.
Thats how he was able to use his claws without bleeding out when his mutations were turned off like in uncanny X-men #150.
Also, take into accoutn that modern Laura isnt early 2000's Laura, her body isnt the same, specially since she now had adamantium all over.

I always figured Wolverine's claws sheaths were just implants he got at some point since he doesn't always have them on his hands so they are not natural.
What do you mean with this? Afaik Laura only has 6 adamantium claws in all her body and that doesn't really affect her healing factor in any significant way, though I may be wrong and forgetting something.

Its so unbelieveably stupid and bullshit that we all pretend it didnt happen.
Basically current Laura isnt the original one, shes a Krakoan pod baby with an adamantium skeleton.
The real Laura was aged up offscreen just for the sake of a shitty storyline to ape old man Logan and to justify Laura now having the same shit as Logan to make her Wolverine's replacement.
So OG Laura basically got character murdered because she would care to come back atleast for Logan, Gambit and Jubilee.

Everyone working on this has other things going on in life, but they have done quite a bit of work on the next 3 updates(0.9,1.0,1.1) from an art, story, and programming perspective.
0.9 update seems to be focused on live2d/art with 1.0 wrapping up all of the other systems and getting things in place. Things like group dates and sex with more than one girl are planned.
1.1 being the continuation of the story.
The goal I think is to try and prevent what you see in other projects when things are added and it requires a redo of things. Get the foundation locked down so at worst moving forward they still have something solid to rely on.
