Basically current Laura isnt the original one, shes a Krakoan pod baby with an adamantium skeleton.
The real Laura was aged up offscreen just for the sake of a shitty storyline to ape old man Logan and to justify Laura now having the same shit as Logan to make her Wolverine's replacement.


So OG Laura basically got character murdered because she would care to come back atleast for Logan, Gambit and Jubilee.

Just to make it clear, the current Laura in mind is the same, since she has the same memories of Laura before she was conveniently taken off-screen to be aged up, so functionally it is the same character, it is entirely a contrived bullshit for drama and to ape old man logan.
