Comic-wise, that takes until the 90s, and there is over a decade of X-Men comic material till we get to the point where Emma is fully allied to the X-Men and teaching at one of their schools. She does start helping the X-Men after Secret Wars (which, based on the reviews I found, were utter dogshit comics that forced everyone to write around it), mostly to undo the shit Marvel forced on the X-Men creative team, but it still takes a bit for her to become fully aligned.

Now, this doesn't mean she won't have a role or not be one of the main girls in chapter 3; there are still plenty of ways for Null and Emma's sexy times to happen. Current theory for Chapter 3 is that Emma will attempt to recruit Null to the Hellfire Club, and Null will go along with it (with the X-Men's blessing) to spy on the Hellfire club possibly setting up the Hellfire Club/X-Men... I won't say alliance, but mutually beneficial truce/partnership when mutant hate skyrockets due to a variety of factors (the amount of malicious actors stoking mutant hate to exploit the hate and mutants at the same time is insane).

I was gonna comment on how ridiculous it is for the guy throwing Wheels down to be in that posture because his arms are way above the crippled's height.
But I think that might be Wolverine, so he might barely reach Wheel's handles.

Well we are taking 30 years of comics and fitting it into 5 and a half years.

Marvel did it, so we think we can accomplish it with decent pacing... At least until chapter 5. The build up to Onslaught was fucking busy.

0.9a open beta coming Sunday (01/11) at 1200 EST! attached is the changelog. the build is very nearly feature complete, so I predict that this will be the final changelog

0.9a both adds a lot of new art and features some aggressive tweaking of texture loading to try to present the highest quality textures with smooth gameplay. it is about 33% bigger than 0.8c! as always, I expect to have to iron out some wrinkles as reported by y'all, so don't be shy if the game is crashing or running poorly! we are committed to making TNH run smoothly on as many devices as we can!

the absolute first thing you should do if you're experiencing poor performance or silent crashes that seem like out-of-memory issues is to go into the Graphics menu and start tweaking options. I highly recommend trying the various resolution options we've exposed for y'all, as well as image cache size (lower is more conservative) - in my experience, proper configuration of these resolves most performance issues/crashes

the major to-do item left is animating and adding physics to the standing poses, which I expect will take me at least a couple weeks and maybe longer based on my work schedule. the open beta will last as long as is necessary to crush the inevitable bugs y'all find and finish this animation work!
