I noticed the anachronisms as well, I gave it a pass because just about every one gets it wrong. Also time travel exist I guess, maybe forge got his hands on the time gem and did the needful.

Taking a closer look, everything else fits. The Alien poster will give cannavaro too many ideas with brood Kitty.

And this is another reason why I initially questioned what years this game takes place in; because the years given (at least before Boots said 2005) and the widely available/commonly known technology at the time didn't match.

Plus if the game starts in Fall of 05 then it will be 07 by the end of ch2.
Still a bit early for 2010s things, but whatever.

Tech is pretty close. Forge made smartphones in this world only 2 years early.(Damn Skrull Steve Jobs stealing designs.)

It could also be custom, remember Kitty is super smart, so she could have designed and built all of that with the advanced tech the X-Men have lying around. She is also a super massive dork and designed them completely out of touch with the styles of the time, insisting they'll become popular in the future.
