I wonder what kind of specs Kitty's pc has , if baldy didn't cheap out on her maybe Null and her could play Doom 3 and Far Cry 1 on it

I'm half tempted to look up what CPUs and GPUs existed in 2005. Though now I'm wondering if SATA was standardized back then, or at least if IDE was on its way out...

I noticed the anachronisms as well, I gave it a pass because just about every one gets it wrong. Also time travel exist I guess, maybe forge got his hands on the time gem and did the needful.

No one I knew owned a 2010's era phone in 2005.

Is it perfect? No, of course not. I'm sure there's some other detail that we haven't thought of that completely broke the timeline. We do however put an excessive amount of time into:

Soooo Kitty got the first ever chair in that style knowing it would take off for gaming years later?
It got mass appeal in gaming from a twitch sponsorship in 2014 which they leveraged to have it be used by game streamers during the esports boom.

And sure,just like air conditioned cars existed for decades and not being really standard until the end of the 90s or touchscreens technically existing in the late 80s-90s, those pc cases I'm sure existed but were virtually non existent. Looking them up I found 2 models from pretty obscure brands.

The touchscreen smartphone you already explained in game with Forge being ahead of the pack on tech.

Anyway, this is to say sure, you could say that something technically existed, but not really around. Kind of stretching things pretty hard.

She can hook up to her crt tv for that. Got to get that dell ips lcd monitor.1600 x 1200 for the competitive edge in Quake, Unreal Tournament, and Halo 2. Work up some gamer language.

Guess it's a flex to wreck people at 1280 x 960.

For what it's worth, back in 2005 I had one of these "bad boys" :

That there is a "pivoting" LCD monitor (flat screen, or as flat as it got back then). See that yellow arrow in the top-right corner? Yeah, you'd slide the monitor upwards on the rails in the back, then it would "pivot" to the left to turn it from landscape to portrait "mode", much like a modern tablet or phone, except you had to change the way the screen was displayed on your computer, it didn't auto-detect it. Cable management was a total bitch for that though, because at the time USB wasn't the best for video display. You used a thick-ass gold-plated DVI cable if you wanted the "super good" resolution. Good thing they literally screwed into place.

Cost the equivalent of about $1200 or so in today's money. Pretty cheap compared to that stereo system Rogue gets the MC as a gift.
