Frankly, this game is a better The Forest in some aspects lol. Parasite powers are nice. Just a note to any starting out: make the Totem (it requires a female head) as soon as you have a base.

Questions for anyone:
1. Is the slave smelter the only way to get iron ingots?
2. Does the slave mark only work when carrying a slave? My dumbass can't read, you need a male head and a branch to make a mark.
3. Anyone know how to fix the item detection skill? It's not highlighting items anymore. It will come back, it's random bug.
4. Anyone got the smelter working? (So you can use iron ingots) Says that you "lack tools".
5. Guessing that there are bugs past getting ingots; if you cheat in a hacksaw and cut logs, you get softlocked. Any reports on that?

i'm sorry, i'm a bit confused at what you're asking about.

OK no problem. the guy has a aboves, his rig does exist. the ryzen 3050. its because the 3050 = rtx-3050.

heres something that will through you off very much, my laptop the configuration it has (now get ready for this to blow your mind) its a "AMD Ryzen 7 8845Hs w/ Radeon 780M Graphics + RTX - 4070".

So i understood what he meant wen he expressed what his rig was running i just didn't catch it till after i commented. my bad for confusing you bro didn't mean to. But he definitely need to upgrade that 3050 its crap when trying to run present and future games.

but as option you can use any plugin or extension for chrome such as Download manager which often has a pause or/and continue downloads.

Well the game is good even now but ı think ı found some problems. I dont know if ı doing something wrong or its wrong. The blood on char. wont clean even after ı dive to water. and ı cant make any steel item. Female rabbit doesnt exist too. Some people say this game is scam and wont go even further but ı can still play like 4 5 hours without bored. I wish good luck to dev. its very good game and have a open road for it.

if i remember it was a common problem if u updated your previous version without deliting your save data in %appdata% or something like that...
Not sure sorry, but im pretty sure that if you scroll a fewpages behind, you'll find the solution

Note that you will have to just deal with snakes/scorpions no matter where you go. At least, in my experience.
I got two that I have rn:
1. Assuming you just crawled out of the cave, if you go left, down the path to the clearing below, and go across and up the hill, there is a waterfall pond. Continue along the wall to the right, and the space from the waterfall to the cliffs is pretty good for making a base. Once you get totem powers, it's a great place to, er... jump off into the beach.
2. If you instead follow the cliffs overlooking the beach, go up the hill a bit, and take the paved road down to the floating orb (spoiler: they're teleport points but DON'T jump into them until you're ready to walk back lol) in the destroyed road, and then follow the path from it down the cliffs to the beach, you can setup before the hollow log (Note: crouch to go through the one bump in the log).

Both locations are also because I don't wanna setup far from the cave as well lol. But they're far away enough. Do mind that location 1 could have an enemy totem or two spawn nearby (though it's happened once only) so there is a rare chance of enemies in your base depending on how far you put out the wall. Location 2 is better and is near an abandoned town (watch your step!).

1. Aside from cheat, yes.

4. Smelter or Forge?
If you really mean Smelter: you'll need to craft "simple form" in the crafting table, some coal and metal like empty cans to start smelting.
After a while, it will drop the simple form in front of it. Break that with an axe to get the iron ingot inside.
If you actually mean Forge: you'll have to place a hammer to it in the tool slot, it will start forging but will never finish whatever you started forging. (bug)
If you want to be fair, just procure all of the requirements of a steel item that you want but yeet those somewhere and cheat the item in.

5. It only happens sometimes, just "unstuck", then reuse the sawmill so Ana will finish her locked animation.

If you mean sawing wood seem locked as in slow, you have to time it right with left click to saw a log within 10 seconds.

Most likely the dev didn't put upgrade limits. Which sucks, because you have no indicator if you reach it; and given what it does to carry weight, who knows if it's the same for the other upgrades.
And btw, pretty sure that it actually became 0, so you might have to Cheat Menu to reset totem upgrades.

There seems to be a limit, as far as I remember 4 upgrades, after that last one that turned it 0 it seems to be max. For other skills it also seems to be 4-5 levels until it maxes out. So yes I might have to use the reset.
