Hey there.
Looks like telekinesis won't work. I got it from totem, but nothing happens to anything (anybody?) when i use middle mouse button. I assigned another key, but doesn't work either. What am I missing?

Does anyone know how to remove a rifle from chest? It seems my secondary rifle slipped off the belt and attached to my chest. There is a stock on the rifle and is in the way of reading the notebook.

- It is not showing in the belt slot
- Cannot add a new rifle to that slot
- Removing the belt and all clothing doesn't work
- Showering does not work
- Reloading the game does not work
- Death doesn't work
- This is the 2nd time this has happened. The 1st time, I just restarted as I was going to do so anyway.

Hold the weapon slot # keybind - should be key 1

I believe this only works for the primary weapon in slot #1, and does not need a belt to work.
Happens to me a lot when looting the rifles from the hazmat baddies.

Holding 1 "should" swap. That is the issue. The secondary gun is stuck to my chest and not in the belt slot. the belt is empty and won't accept another weapon in slot 1. In the pic, nothing is holding the gun. All clothes were removed, and all weapon slots are empty. This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I just restarted.

Also, you can swap slot 4 to go from wood axe to pickaxe and back.

Have you tried swapping with a different primary equipped? I feel like I had this problem once as well, don't remember what I did to resolve it.
Inventory system is buggy as shit.

You can see here that the belt slot is empty, but the gun is still on my chest. I'm wearing the cargo pants [Jeans_01], which include a belt. This is how belt slots show without a belt. The other jeans require a belt. I've tried both ways. With these jeans and other jeans with a belt. The other guns can go on my back, but when trying to place them on the belt slot, none can be placed.

Belts are busted in this update, I haven't been able to get them to work at all.
I don't think your issue is related to the belt though.

You should be able to swap between primary weapons with or without a belt.
Just for shits and giggles I loaded up my save and was able to swap the UMP45 with no issues holding the #1 key.

I can only assume this is a weird inventory bug and you're probably fucked xD

And I can see if it works or stays bugged on my end.

And just like that, the gun went back onto the belt. I was by the downed airliner and saw one of the hazmat guys. After shooting him, I was sorting my inventory and noticed a gun in my belt. I hadn't picked up the hazmat guy's gun, so it was triggered by picking it up off the ground. It just decided to unbug. PFM - Pure Fucking Magic.

Also, strange to find a hazmat guy still wandering around on day 38. More so by the plane. It is my main travel route.

Game has some crazy bugs. Getting an object stuck to your character is one of the more common ones. I had a bugged pistol that would not let me put a magazine in it. I had to throw it off a cliff and loot another one to finally be rid of that dumb bug. The hazmat guys respawn after a few days. I think you just need to avoid certain areas for a few days, or it will stop them from coming back.

Currently there are some things that never seem to respawn, like whatever is in a car's glovebox, or trunk; weapon crates; static clothing (jacket/pants) that have items in them, lunch boxes, tool boxes and other containers. I think the dev needs to come up with something akin to 7 days to die's supply crate drops. It could just be containers that spawn into an area when it's scheduled for a refresh and once it's been interacted with, it will despawn after a fixed amount of time. Luggage already works this way I think, where new luggage will spawn in over time, but that only incentivizes you to visit the beach and around cars. The rest of the map is irrelevant once you've run through it once, unless it has cars/buses.

aaand now i have bugged pickaxe so i can't even chop some wood. Pickaxes just can't be dropped to slot and switched from belt slot. This is the end?...

Holy shit, is this real? I've never seen such a fast revenue growth from a patreon game. Did a big youtuber played the game or what? If he's still working alone I hope he'll hire some people to help on the project.
There are several youtubers that play the game pretty regularly and put out videos and live streams. Disassociate, Seargent Kelvin and Feathered Rogue seem to be the most active, but there are many more that have made videos for it within the last 3 months. The survival genre is pretty popular and has a lot of roleplaying potential, which can be a big draw for some people. The only problem with such rapid growth in popularity is when you can't keep up with the hype people tend to fall off fast. This happened with Valheim, The Mist and Sons of The Forest. Those games gained massive amounts of hype and the small dev teams couldn't get updates out fast enough and people moved ended up moving on pretty quickly.

A lot of devs think this and then 2-3 updates in they realize they are in way over their heads and quit. The most important part of game making in this space is being consistent with your updates. The second most important thing is listening to feedback and implementing change when necessary. A lot of devs are hardheaded and get really mad if you criticize their game, but if you are someone who can't read the room and see that it's not just one guy being an asshole picking on you about one feature, but numerous people all saying the same thing, you might not even get off the ground. If you can nail those two things and maintain momentum the sky is the limit as to how far you can go.

Well... I don't fully agree about the feedback, you cannot satisfy eveyrone, that is basically impossible. In my humble opinion, the most important thing is to have a plan and know what you want to do (assuming you have all the skills and knowledge needed to develop a game). A complete vision of the game. Which sadly in most of those projects is not true. From my point of view, people develop those games "on the fly", which is one of the reasons why so many projects never ends...
