I had the same issue, had to do a new game to get it to worki downloaded the "regular" version and have the same issue

an update ok. Playing it really seems like there's little, I believe we should let this game stew for a while, as the branched content makes it seem like the updates are small. Personally, I would prefer if he focused on finishing a specific planet and holding an event on it with hot scenes, instead of focusing on different parts of the game map.

Are you new around here or what? 90% of the games on this site, including the most popular ones, are barely games, literally abandoned, basically abandoned, or barely developed lol.
And 99% of the completed games are Japanese semi-professional circle releases with wildly varying quality. Pilgrimage 2 has nothing to worry about especially with it able to point to the first game.
can't find the rats in game. I just drop it into that site that shows you all the images/vids in a game.

Did anyone ASK for a COMPLETED game? You may be new to the land of Software releases from an end user perspective.
BETA release, that has bugs and you report those bugs to the developer. It usually works about 90% or higher but you report those bugs to the developer to be fixed before the official update. The official update is usually (depending on the dev) 98% bug free, but it mostly works. The ALPHA release is released BEFORE the BETA and generally is not meant for public distribution because their are loads of bugs the developers chosen testers work to squash before the Beta potentially gets released to the public.
You average idiot doesn't know the difference between any of the 3 versions and whines
incessantly about "bugs" and "please help" and "this dev sucks" and "omfg - Why can't they make this in Renpy or Rpgm" depending on the game.So with an ALPHA build the Average person should not touch it with a ten foot pole and just wait until the full update.

Worked for me but I had to download Renpy plugin update from their Patreon (its free) and not their website cause they don't update it there as often or something.

I'm going to assume English isn't your native language, but anyways, alpha and beta versions don't mean anything specific, they are fluid milestone terms that measure distance. Same thing for version numbers, actually. This is a common mistake people who don't know anything about traditional software development and its history make. Fully released games that have been out for years still get complaints about bugs or issues, especially from people who just played it for the first time today.
