Makes you want more, but you can really tell that it's still a beta.

Here's a list of things I noticed that could be improved.

Firstly, the performance. Many of the short cut scenes are very jerky. Both the transitions between the animations and the animations themselves.

Signposts could be designed more clearly. It does indicate where to click to get to the next room, but there are these wall markings on some maps, but they are inactive. A color variation between active and inactive markings would be desirable. Ideally designed in such a way that you can also see in which rooms you can get new quests, so that you don't have to walk through every room later to find a new quest.

You can currently take one of two female NPCs with you to the planet. There will definitely be a larger selection here in the future. But it would also be nice if you could choose male NPCs. That way you could celebrate the victory over the enemies properly. The current map already offers one or two (currently inactive) options for this.

One positive thing to note is that you can already start some lewd actions in the ship bar. I hope that some well-known NPCs will be added here. However, this could lead to confusion for a player who hasn't played part 1. I think that for those to whom this applies, there should be a special intro at the start of the game. For example, a 5-minute video that roughly summarizes the events from part 1. This could also be used to determine how dirty Tali acted in the first game.

The enemies on the first planet are well-known. I hope that we get to know an even richer flora and fauna on other planets.

From memory part of the lore is that those beast kill the men and only rape woman, so it might be hard to implement having guys as follower without killing them off in the story especially in the event of a defeat

The animations are far more fluid and polished than the first game's and i personally did not find them jerky at all (maybe i was busy getting jerky in my pants idk)

I agree with this, they were a little troublesome to spot and identify at times. its nice that they blend in with the environment, looks slick, but at the same time they blend in a little too much. maybe making the text a little bigger and/or brighter could help. alternatively give an option for a openable 2D map where you just click where you want to go instead of the current system of clicking the level and then navigating using the signage.

I personally dont see the appeal of this so i would never have thought of it, but it might be nice for something like this to be optional so people such as yourself could enjoy the game more :^). i do think there needs to be a "victory" scene implimented (again, maybe optional. would love to see some more femdom) or something of the sort because currently the battle just ends and thats it.

I disagree about the 5-minute intro, i feel that would be too distracting. I feel as though the bar scenes currently in the game are just there as placeholder until their repective events have been written and implimented (much like the cage in the medbay). alternatively - if they are just slightly alterned versions from the first game - then maybe adding them in some kind of side-menu instead would be nice as they would therefore not be pertinent to the story of this game. Would love to see the bar expanded further in this game too, perhaps with Tali (and other girls) "working" in the bar, corrupting it over time. Could be cool to see the rest of the ship be corrupted over time as well. Similarly i would love for this game to include a gallery that you can go back to and visit and i feel the bar would be a great location for this (the bedroom also works i suppose).

Side note: id love to see Tali acquire "pets" on her travels which she keeps in those medbay cages that she can use as and when she pleases and maybe can even take them on quests and be used in combat (especially if there are enemy female NPCs in future) could be cool.

Absolutely, the very beginning where you had to find Jesora was a nightmare because the bar sign looks completely different to the other location change buttons.

Also I'm annoyed there's going to be a save transfer because I already deleted the first one to make room so I don't have the save from it anymore.

And here we go again... from the start.

I mean, I loved the first game. But I would prefer for dev to make a new game instead of "chapter 2". Becasue now we have the same models, similar locations and yet everything needs to be started from the beginning. It might take a 1-2 years till we get enough content to even play it.

Wake me up when september 2026 ends.
I find the dev to be super conscientious about his work. his first game was amazing and the first game he ever made. you can see the quality improve update by update. in 2 months (he took a long vacation) he got the new systems down and did a bunch of scenes with the existing models if he keeps up the work we just get more scenes with old models and get new models too. lets not forget every update had new creatures i dont see him just doing the same thing. the reason its a new game and not new chapter is because the game size got too big

exactly. its not really a "new game" its literally just chapter 2, its a continuation of the first game but building it on a clean slate allows the dev to put all their new experience and knowlege to good use rather than having to work around old systems and code which may not be that good. as someone who has done a bit of coding theres nothing worse than your own coding from a few years ago lol

i wish the text font size would be like 1-2 level bigger. my eyes start to hurt from small text.
