Very refreshing take on a lewd pixel art game. It's still new so the game is short and sweet, but it is still enjoyable and I'm sure harry potter fans would enjoy it even more considering the attention to text within the books.
Simple and Great. Potion games that give a lot of variety and do not need to tell a long story in the beginning are one of the funnest games to play due to variety. Similar to the tfgamessite game Potion Lab which I highly recommend.
Very nice animations, fun different potions with interesting effects. Reactive creator and always there to explain/help. The game's weight is light and therefore will not be too annoying to update for the players. QoL acknowledged by the creator, which is awesome. Looking for more in the future, very promising!
A short game. All potion recipes are contained in books. Total like 8 recipes. Pretty simple low - detail animations. I was able to get through 100 percent of the content in around 5 minutes. Reset button is the sign on the right side of the screen.
We have a very few Harry Potter parody games out there worth a damn. This one is simple, rustic, and charming, with a 16-bit twist. Reminds me of the Magic Potion shop game(creator: Vadimgod) from maybe 10 years ago, and boy is it nostalgic as all heck.
It's a little difficult to fap to pixels, but I like the aesthetic. Keep it up~
Not much to say for the first version. It shows promise. Graphics are nice, animations are great, though I'm biased towards pixel-graphics in general. I do hope each potion will have its own sex animation in the future instead of just making the character look different. I know this kind of animation can take a lot of time but I'm willing to wait as long as it's necessary.
An options menu in the future would be nice, being able to go windowed mode via other options etc. Also maybe make the reset button a bit more obvious? Right now it's just a poster of an arrow way over to the right and might take a while to spot.
Overall, pretty good. Do make sure to support the dev if you like potion stuff!
Very fun and cute little game. It'll take 10 minutes to complete V0.1, but that's to be expected. Happy to keep an eye on this as it grows!
A few suggestions to the creator of the game:
Allow the player to see Hermione while reading the text. Your art is good! Let us see it!
The text taking up the whole page isn't great. If you can include the above suggestion, maybe have scrollable text or multiple pages (as included in the intro). You could even tie some of the transformations to page turns, making them multiple steps (the uniform and polyjuice potions come to mind as good examples for this).
Allow for skipping the text for a failure state. Either that or make the failure state include several different versions. Having to use a 4th ingredient, already knowing nothing will happen, then being faced with the same large page of text ain't great (as described above).
The books are great! But you might see yourself running out of space soon with that tiny bookshelf. One idea could be having each book have multiple recipes, each new one unlockable after the previous one has been made! This might give an extra feeling of progress while not limiting you to the small bookshelf.
